Lou A Kouvaris, a former guitarist for Riot and currently on the Riot Act, has died
of coronavirus (Covid-19). The sad news has been revealed by Jimmy Kay of The Metal Voice.
DEP my dear friend Lou A Kouvaris (Riot, Riot Act). A great guitarist and a great person.
I have no words. Lou passed away from Covid-19. I believed in you and you believed in me.
I will keep your spirit and your music alive. ”
Kouvaris was a guitarist in Riot's early days partnering with Mark Reale on the Rock City
debut. He was currently part of the Riot Act alongside fellow Riot guitarist Rick Ventura.
