The idea, the project and the name of Löanshark are born from the mind of the
guitarist, singer and main songwriter Lögan Heads, in the year
2011 when he lived in his hometown in Sardinia (Italy) he thought of creating a parallel band to
its
Crimson Storm project where I could develop some compositions of
more classic air that he had devised for said band but that were rejected
for the rest of the formation for departing from the characteristic Speed Metal style of the
same.

Years later, in 2016, Lögan decided to move to Barcelona where he would meet
Aless, whom he would propose to join as a bassist to Crimson Storm with the aim of moving him to
Barcelona and the new project that I finally wanted to make reality, Löanshark.

Aless agreed to collaborate on both projects and together they began to shape it with the first
rehearsals while searching for a drummer, months later they found him, Ángel, who turned out to be
the perfect pillar that the band lacked, shortly after Lögan decided to take the vocal part and thus
The Power Trio training would be complete, with which, in early 2018 they would record their
first EP in “Session” format, The Warning Sessions.
Their debut EP had a notable acceptance on the local and national underground scene, and brought them
to debut very soon on stage and to perform multiple concerts in the national territory.

After releasing her second single called Midnight Shooter / Red Light Blues which helped
the band to reach a good number of new followers, in April 2020 and in full
confined by the Covid-19 crisis, Löanshark publishes Fast, Heavy, Loud 'N Proud which will be
their last single prior to their imminent first LP in which they will continue to exploit their sound that
could encompass the recent stream called New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal
(NWOTHM).

The band promises to conquer European territory with their live shows when the health crisis has
finished, hoping it will be ASAP!
