DRAGHKAR – AT THE CROSSROADS OF INFINITY ( Review by Varg The Mighty )

American Death Metal band Draghkar have recently released their debut full-length, “At The Crossroads Of Infinity”.
This album is a very clear offering of Death Metal, with no boring tracks yet none that really rise above the rest, except maybe the title track, which has some very slight tints of doom that make it interesting and different than the rest of the album.
This album starts directly with “The First Death” and no need for an intro, and we dive straight into restless American Death Metal, very clearly from this genre but with some kind of elegance not very prominent in other bands, as seen in the more melodic parts of songs like “An Erosion Of The Eternal Soul”. Combined with the sort of atmospheric yet clearly Death music, you hear a voice quite similar to Temple Of Void that compliments well the rest of the band.
I recommend this album if you’re a fan of American Death Metal but like some level of elaborate music. This band has potential, but they may need to define more clearly their sound with future albums to be able to reach bigger publics.
