SAVAGE ANNIHILATION – SOUMISES À LA PROCRÉATION ( Review by Varg The Mighty )

Today’s review is of French Death Metal band Savage Annihilation’s new EP.
Plagued with cool special guests, this EP starts with a symphonic intro that decays into putrescent Death Metal in the most classic way of Deicide, whose song “When Satan Rules His World” has been covered on this album.
The most interesting part of the EP is the cover of Helloween’s song “Savage”, a surprisingly well done adaptation into Death Metal of a notably happy song. There also is a tribute song to Slayer that is Thrash Metal with the vocals being a mix of dozens of their song titles, a fun song that adds diversity to the album.
These songs are very pure Death Metal, with shrieking solos and gory lyrics supported by Neolithic drums and down-tuned riffs. This band is of good quality compared to most bands of the style.
I recommend this to fans of Death Metal, especially OSDM.
