New single from Dutch thrash-/deathmetal-band Black Rabbit.....!!

New Line-up, New Single

The Dutch Thrash Death Metal Band Black Rabbit releases their brand new single ‘Taken By The Devil’ on the 17th of October. They will bring it to the public with a release party at Rocktoberfest, Harderwijk, Netherlands. The sad news is that this event has been cancelled. Statement from the band:

'Unfortunately our release show at Estrado Harderwijk on Saturday October 17th, celebrating the release of our new single "Taken by the Devil", had to be canceled due to the most recent government measures... There was simply no way to make it happen legally.  We are currently figuring out a way to celebrate it anyway, so stay tuned for more information! We will not let this go unnoticed!'

After the release of their well-received EP ‘Warren of Necrosis’  Black Rabbit was ready to continue on that streak. Unfortunately there were some changes in the line-up. Nino Thomas (vocals) and Martin Jaramillo (Bass) were added to the line-up. This had to be celebrated and what is a better way then with a brand new single.

The single was recorded at Raiko Records with Robbin van de Bor and Stijn Donders. Not only did Robbin and Stijn record ‘Taken By the Devil’ with us, they also mixed it. Mastering is done by the one and only Peter Brussee and the artwork is made by the never disappointing Roberto Toderico. Black Rabbit will begin the Taken tour at Rocktoberfest(this one has been cancelled now, keep an eye on the band's FB-page for news about the other planned gigs)and will end in B3, Sint Pancras.

Brutalism (4,5/5)

"The raw and dirty sound from Black Rabbit is a good one and the band have created their own sound but a lot of influences can be heard"

MetaltoInfinity (81/100)

‘’These young boys know what they want and their debut doesn’t leave me indifferent. You feel the passion, they have the energy and skills to grow as time passes.

Heavy, fast and pure!’’

GBHBL (8/10)

‘’ Delivering a robust effort that is mostly about the thrash while also having one eye on the death side of metal….Black Rabbit’s devotion to crushing all those in their ways is clear to all who hear this.’’
