PHOENIX RISING - Symphonic Power Metal/Spain

In 2010, under the name of Quinta Enmienda and with its first album under its belt, "Ne Bis In Idem", the band became known in Spain through different shows and festivals such as SONISPHERE or Granito Rock.

In 2012 and already as Phoenix Rising, the second album, entitled MMXII, was released internationally under the German label Sonic Attack Records.

In April 2012 the band obtained an agreement with the prestigious Japanese label Hydrant Music and in 2013 the band obtained an agreement with the German label SPV (Avantasia…) and decided to reissue MMXII under the new label and worldwide, obtaining more than 6,000 copies. sold.
In 2014 “Versus” was released, this time self-published and after several national dates and recording of several video clips, the presentation of his latest work at festivals such as EuskalMetal 2016 ended and even toured France and Belgium in June 2016.

After a pause of a few years and a global pandemic, we are ready again to present you a project that will not leave you indifferent: ACTA EST FABULA, their new concept album.

Phoenix Rising presents its new work, "Acta Est Fabula", through a patronage campaign through Verkami to finance its launch. The album has been recorded at New Life studios in Madrid (Arwen, Obús, Saratoga, etc ...) under the production of José Garrido (Arwen, Ex-Darkmoor) and Daniel Sabugal (Arwen, Ex-Ebony Ark) and will be mastered in the Australian studios "Systematic Productions" by Ermin Hamidovic (Architects, Periphery, Intervals, ...).

How does Power Metal sound in 2020? This is the question that the band wants to answer through this new work. A mix of the most representative sounds of the genre combined with current arrangements and production. A powerful and direct sound but at the same time epic and bombastic. For this, the band presents their new single "Deriva Speranza".

The album, scheduled for release in January 2021, will tell a conceptual story about a mysterious journey. In addition, and to extend the experience, most of the crowdfunding rewards will enjoy a novel that will provide more details about this epic adventure.
