PINBALL WIZARD – MAKE MILLENNIALS GREAT AGAIN (Review by Varg The Mighty )

Today’s review is of Spanish Hard Rock band Pinball Wizard’s latest EP.
Completely capturing the sound of the 80’s with some notable modernity included, this EP mostly sounds like early Guns n’ Roses without any extravagant solos needed to prove a point and a slight keyboard in the background occasionally to create the right vibe. Added to the nice riffs are particularly harsh female vocals that fit perfectly with the music and that gives it a good singularity.
They also have a style that is very similar to Glam Rock, even if it leans mostly to Hard Rock. The song where this is more apparent is “Crazy Horse”, the best out of the whole EP. On other songs, the sound reminds us more of the 70’s, with some clear Santana influences like on “Blah Blah Blah”. Despite the short length of the EP, it is very diverse with talent displayed without the need of bombastic show-offs but with decent confidence that makes us travel through diverse realms of Rock music without getting lost in anything progressive or boring.
I recommend this album to fans of 80’s Hard Rock, 70’s Rock and Glam Rock. My rating is of 8,5/10.
