BLOOD TEMPTATION – RIVER OF STYX ( Review by Varg The Mighty )

Today’s review is of American Black Death Metal band Blood Temptation’s debut album.

Unlike most bands that simply mix both styles to get some extra blatant brutality just for the sake of itself, on this album they seem to have captured the purer essence of each genre, while also being quite extreme.

Once you hear it, you will appreciate catchy songs like “Life Collector” or the title track, you will have a great deal of technical melodies that fit quite well and you will also get some nice and extreme metal. This album seems somewhat deeper than most of the subgenre, and it is surely worth checking out. This has been composed with a big amount of talent and any future releases may even be better.

I recommend this album to fans of Death Metal and Black Death Metal. My rating is of 9/10.
