Cöntraband is a band formed at the beginning of 2019 in Cornellà (Barcelona), but it was not until
mid-May, when he began to "walk." It is currently made up of the members
current, four true rock freaks: Juanpe Flores on guitar and vocals, Isma Membrive on bass
and vocals, Alex Doogan on drums and vocals, and Ceci Canterla on lead vocals and guitar.
ORIGINS
We all come from different bands and previous projects, and we accumulate years of experience, since
We have always been part of the local rock scene, and we come to the present day with the
conviction of being able to offer a wide and complete repertoire of our own, based on our various
tastes and influences, which span multiple styles and artists:
From the blues / rock of the 60s / 70s or the heavy rock of the 80s, to grunge or trash metal. From Led
Zeppelin or Cream, to Black Stone Cherry, through AC / DC, Foo Fighters, Dead Daisies, Black
Crowes, Gary Moore, ...
WHERE WE GO?
On a musical level it would be very difficult for us to catalog or label what we do, since we drink from allthose bands, and we also want to play all the styles and colors of rock, so they will have to be
our followers who "tag" us.
We do not set any limits. Our bet is our own repertoire (without forgetting the occasional
live version) and either through the recording and publication of our songs, or playing
in all possible scenarios, we want to bring our music to the whole world, and bring
our issues as far as possible, to the more people the better.
