Today’s review is of American Black Thrash Metal band Blasphemous Creation’s new album.
On this album the band takes a really pure Black Thrash approach, with their known Nifelheim influences being very present here. Nonetheless, some songs still dive into other aspects of Extreme Metal, especially Death Thrash Metal, though Black Speed Metal with Midnight vibes is much more present in the release.
If you want some Rock n’ Roll-ish Thrash that sounds old-school and straightforward while some technique can also be appreciated and the bass plays an important role, you should check this release out. Full of catchy riffs and epic tales, this full-length includes decent tracks, of which I highlight “The Architect” and “Red Serpent”.
I recommend this album to fans of Black Thrash Metal and Black Speed Metal. My rating is of 9/10.
