NERVOCHAOS – DUG UP... DIABOLICAL REINCARNATIONS ( Review by Varg The Mighty )

Today’s review is of Brazilian Death Metal band Nervochaos’ upcoming new compilation, out on November 19th.

Consisting of remastered and rerecorded tracks of their early discography, the album celebrates their 25th anniversary in a great way. This new album adds some audio quality to the tracks of their early career, and offers them to newcomers in the best way to hook them into their material. If you still haven’t checked them out, this new release offers a great chance to do so.

You can also appreciate the evolution of their OSDM and violent sound as it starts with Thrash roots, passes through a groovy era and is reborn in the most powerful way. Delivering Brazilian fury at its finest, fans of acts such as early Sepultura, Sarcofago, Vulcano or Nervosa should like their discography if they’re not hooked into it already. Perhaps taking a more Death Metal approach than similar acts, their sound is pure Extreme Metal done by battle-worn veterans of the genre.

I recommend this album to fans of Death Metal and Thrash Death Metal. My rating is of 9/10.
