King Company - Trapped (AOR Heaven Release: 25 June 2021)

Finnish ‘Hard Rock Supergroup’ KING COMPANY releases 3rd album “Trapped” with a new singer.
King Company was formed in 2014 by drummer Mirka ”Leka” Rantanen (Raskasta joulua, Warmen, ex-Thunderstone, ex-Kotipelto, etc.) to fulfill his longtime dream of melodic hard rock/metal band with good friends and musicians. His former Thunderstone colleague Pasi Rantanen took the vocal duty, Antti Wirman (Warmen, Children Of Bodom) joined in for the guitars and after Jari Pailamo (Kiuas) with Time Schleifer (Enfarce) answered the calls for keyboards and bass, the band was ready to start working.
Soon King Company signed a record deal with Frontiers Records and released  “One for the Road” 2016 and “Queen of Hearts” 2018 - the latter with Italian singer Leonard F. Guillan as Pasi Rantanen had to leave the band due temporarily losing his voice. The albums were supported by touring in Finland, Spain and Italy, and gave King Company a notice as ‘Newcomer of the Year - Brightest Hope’ in Japanese Burrn magazine and 7th position in Finnish album charts, respectively.
The misfortune with vocalists continued. Ilkka Keskitalo became the new singer in 2019, with whom King Company began to produce its third album. In 2020 the first demos sent to AOR Heaven resulted in signing a deal. The recordings took over one year in several sessions and it was mixed and mastered by Jesse Vainio (Sarah Brightman, Apocalyptica, Sunrise Avenue, Gregorian, etc.) The band describes the new production as well balanced and more rocking than the previous releases - A world class sound created by elite sound engineer Mr. Vainio makes it a pleasant, stunning and energetic trip to the world of hard rock. Plans for 3rd tour in Spain are already in place.
With the latest repertoire “Trapped” KING COMPANY proves to be one of the most spectacular and eminent acts of the scene since the legends Whitesnake and alike!
KING COMPANY are: Ilkka Keskitalo – Vocals; Mirka Rantanen – Drums; Antti Wirman – Guitars; Time Schleifer – Bass; Jari Pailamo - Keyboards.

Devils In Heaven - Rise (AOR Heaven Release: 25 June 2021)

Devils in Heaven started out as a school covers band in Launceston, Tasmania during the mid-1980’s. After a couple of years of gigging around Tasmania, the boys left their comfy confines in March 1989 and joined the thriving Northern Queensland circuit of touring bands. It was a baptism by fire, but the boys learned to adapt to different type of audiences and built up their stamina and resilience through the constant playing.
It was on this circuit that they were discovered by a band manager, who introduced them to the flourishing Sydney music scene. Here in Sydney is where the industry heavyweights became aware of the band, who by now were playing their own original music for about half of their shows. The band began recording demo recordings, but their demos didn’t seem to land on the right music executives’ desks.
In 1991, the band accepted an offer to appear on the nationally televised talent show, Star Search. The band went on to appear a total of eight times, eventually winning the band section of the Grand Final. But the band didn’t strike while the iron was hot. Instead, their debut single, Say a Prayer, was released six months later. By then, the hype surrounding their Star Search win had somewhat subsided. At this time in April 1992, the music landscape was starting to change with the likes of Nirvana and the grunge scene taking over the airwaves.
After the lack of support for their debut single, the Devils decided on having a last-ditch effort into cracking the big time by recording an E.P. entitled “Liberation” in Hollywood, Los Angeles during March of 1993. Unfortunately, Liberation didn’t even make an indentation on the charts, and the boys decided to part ways in October 1993 as the musical landscape was changing in Australia and it was becoming increasingly difficult to make a living as a live/ touring band.
Now that almost thirty years have passed, their music helps keep the band living on.

French modern metal revelation ODC shares new single "I Love The Way You Fall"

With a bridge between the models of heavy metal and classic rock, the French ODC mix various influences, creating a contagious style of modern metal. Continuing the dissemination of a set of single, the band launches worldwide the track "I Love The Way You Fall", available on all digital platforms, along with the video clip on Youtube and IGTV. "The video was filmed on the streets of Paris during the blockade. I called it the 'official Lockdown video', because nothing can stop the music!", said singer Celia Do.

"I Love The Way You Fall" distorts the codes of conventional love songs to display the image of today's woman: free to choose and free to act. This track is very typical of the ODC sound, as it results from a great mix of influences: alternative rock, electronic sounds, strong 8-string guitar riffs and melodic voice with touches of saturation. The launch is supported by a modern music video filmed on the streets of Paris, as the idea of ODC is to make rock part of today's urban culture.

"When we started working on this song, it was a difficult time for me. I doubted some of my choices. I needed to change the game. We all know those moments. Should we fight or give in? So, I wanted to assert myself even more with this As a woman, of course, but even more as an artist. 'I Love The Way You Fall' is a message to all people, men and women, who are struggling to become or remain free. Say shit to toxic people, to negative attitudes”, explains Celia Do.

The song continues the string of powerful and exciting ODC songs, fueled with a modern sense, with its thunderous drum beats, magnificent guitars and, of course, Celia Do's electrifying vocals. Check out the ODC songs on Spotify.

ODC is the alternative rock and metal project created and led by Celia Do. ODC has perfected a diverse rock sound that is based on influences of modern metal, nu-metal and alternative metal, a fusion of different influences. Modernizing rock and metal is the band's credo.

Celia Do founded the band in 2017 in Paris, France. The first EP 'Ending The Boredom' was released in 2019, followed by a series of singles. The cover for Billie Eilish's famous hit, "You Should See Me in a Crown", totaled more than 600,000 streams on Spotify and Youtube and was placed on more than 3,000 playlists.

Spotify's editorial teams placed ODC on three of their top international playlists: "Heavy Queens", "New Core" and "New Blood".

ŹMIARĆVIEŁY stream CALIGARI debut demo at "Deaf Forever" magazine's website

Today, mysterious Belarusian black metallers Zmiarcviely stream the entirety of their striking debut demo, čornaje połymia, at Deaf Forever magazine's website. Set for international release on May 6th via Caligari Records, hear Zmiarcviely's čornaje połymia in its entirety exclusively HERE.

A mysterious entity hailing from Belarus (we think), Zmiarcviely is an anonymous new project from a nameless spectre, who nonetheless had time to take roots in the scene. While previously playing across the span of extreme music - be it death metal, black metal, or doom - with Zmiarcviely, he indulges his more melodic side. Granted, this is still framed within black metal - and remorselessly grim, cryogenically cold black metal at that - but the debut čornaje połymia conveys epic feelings that are an auspicious first start for this project.

As a moniker, there is no direct English translation for Zmiarcviely except for "dead" or "something that has died," but both are perfect in conveying the sensations contained within this four-song/18-minute tape. Similarly, death in all its forms indeed forms the crux of the lyrics here, all in Belarusian (Kryujan); says the mysterious mainman, "I'm kinda obsessed with the beautiful moment of living matter becoming still once again." As for the EP title itself, čornaje połymia can be simply translated as "black flame," which fits hand-in-glove with the elegantly simple black metal found here, rough and raw but most definitely played as a band by actual humans.

Already, 40 minutes of new Zmiarcviely has been composed, which could see release late this fall. In the meantime, those who heed the call of the old dungeons, from classic Countess to later Front Beast and even mid/late '90s Darkthrone or Moonblood's myriad demos, are wholeheartedly encourage to partake of čornaje połymia!

Fully partake exclusively HERE, courtesy of Deaf Forever, Germany's defenders of the true. Preorder info can be found HERE at Caligari's Bandcamp. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Video Nasty is a Thrash/Death/Speed Metal project from Calgary/Vancouver, Canada started by Jordan Schritt. Jordan wanted to start a project which lyrically dealt with all of the 70’s/80’s/90’s slasher/horror movies he adored. This together with furious Metal was the perfect combination. He started to compose a bunch of songs and wrote lyrics to these songs that were all tied to one specific movie per song. Once he gathered enough material to record an EP Jordan asked a few friends to participate in this project. He also made sure that the artwork for this EP was perfect for the content. All in all this EP rages and rips as gruesomely as all the movies the lyrics were based on. Furious 80’s Thrash Metal with lyrics comprised of all the filth that deranged moviemakers came up with.

Stefano, singer and guitarist, declares: “I personally started this project right before this whole pandemic thing blew up. In the beginning, I didn’t know exactly where I was going, I just wanted to start over again after quitting my former band. The idea of The Phantom Rockets came way after when I realized I wanted to do something different from all I did before. My passion for outer space stuff kinda merged with the one for music and that’s when things started making sense.

Mattia, drummer, adds: “The Phantom Rockets is a project that I didn’t look for but when I got a call from a mutual friend (Steph Orkid from SPVN studio) I understood, inside of me, that it was something that I wish it would have happened at some point. I listened to the draft of the songs and I immediately decided I would join the project.
Also, Stefano and I have known each other for several years but we had never played together before so I thought this would be the right time
