DIABLATION premiere new track at Atmospheric Black Metal Albums - features ex-members of SETH, AD INFERNA

Today, French black metal supergroup Diablation premiere the new track "Ego Daemonium" at the Atmospheric Black Metal Albums YouTube channel. Uniting for the first time ever the two cult singers of Seth (Vicomte Vampyr Arkames) and Anorexia Nervosa (Hreidmarr), the track is the second to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated debut album, Allégeance, set for international release on December 6th via Antiq. Hear Diablation's "Ego Daemonium" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Diablation has for essence the worship of the Devil: its meaning is the fact of giving him life. Including V.Orias A. (ex-Ad Inferna) and Vicomte Vampyr Arkames (ex-Seth, ex-Ad Inferna), Hyde joined the band as bassist a few months after its creation, in the course of 2020. Two decades of silence in their musical world, black metal will have been necessary for their metallic and lyrical torments to spring up again. Dark and unhealthy, the identity of the group is forged in obscurantism and loneliness. April 2021 marked the end of the recording of their debut album, Allégeance, featuring Rose Hreidmarr (ex-Anorexia Nervosa) on the track “Ego Daemonium.” Mixed by V. Orias A. and mastered by Stefan Traunmüller at SoundTemple Studio, the eight tracks thus lay the foundation stones of a work of which this album is only the advent.

"Hell is in man, hell is man." So could be summed up the concept of the first opus of Diablation. From the title "Aigle de Sang, Aigle du Mal" begins the descent into the depths of darkness that V. Orias A. has meticulously composed, sharpening riff after riff. Vicomte Vampyr Arkames draws on his inner being, wounded to the soul, to reveal its most painful words and cries, the most symptomatic of the evil that is gnawing at him. Supported by a majestic, dark, and tragic black metal, Diablation lays the first stone of a temple - or more precisely, of an order. The principles of this hermetic circle are enumerated over the incantations released by a voice from beyond the grave, always in French: "Reject your God, Erase your vows, Embrace the ineffable, Accept the Devil” are the commandments. Diablation, through Allégeance, offers French black metal: a black mass that will mark minds...and bodies. Now is the time to pledge allegiance.

Antiq is a label dedicated to the fully coherent concept of making music through sound, image, video, and attitude. They have been putting their entire existence into it since 2009. Over the years, Antiq have been identified as producers of not only perfectly coherent lyrics and themes through music, but also conceptual art and, of course, the manufacturing of beautiful objects. The label tries as much as it can to work with French creators, and if possible, with the smallest and most serious structures.

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Ego Daemonium" exclusively HERE, courtesy of the Atmospheric Black Metal Albums YouTube channel. HYDROGYN – THE BOILING POINT ( Review by Varg The Mighty )

Today’s review is of American Hard Rock band Hydrogyn’s upcoming new album, out on October 30th.

Confidently displaying their extensive experience in the genre, the band deliver here some straightforward and definitely all-American form of Hard Rock that seems easy to listen to. Filled with catchy riffs under a rough female vocal performance that gives that good old dirtiness that any decent Rock n’ Roll must have, the release also has some modern elements that may make it appealing to new rockers too, such as the use of light yet well placed breakdowns.

Although the album may feel too long, the separate tracks are all generally great, with my highlights being “Bats In The Belfry” and “Wickedness”. Besides these, listeners will find plenty more of nice surprises here. Besides some tougher songs, others are also more commercial, making the full-length become more accessible and dynamic.

I recommend this album to fans of Hard Rock. My rating is of 8,5/10.

Witnesses - 'The Collapse'

New York (NY) - The ever-prolific WITNESSES are proud to announce the October 31 release of expansive Doom-rock gem The Collapse. T

The follow up to Doom II, The Collapse sees WITNESSES extending its doom rock styles into even darker territory on this outing. Drawing influence on the melancholy down-tuned guitar harmonies of 90s British doom, but adding more traditional rock elements, soaring vocals layer on dirges to tell a story of great distress and questions unanswered.

Pre-order:

Formed in 2016 by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Greg Schwan, the goal of WITNESSES has always been and continues to be the creation of evocative music in multiple genres. All principle writing and arrangement on The Collapse was handled by Schwan, with vital contributions provided by session musicians, accompanied by art and design that complements the lyrical concepts. As of 2021, WITNESSES has explored cinematic ambient, doom metal, pop, and dark folk via six albums, an EP and four singles.

“But, obviously, a narrator cannot take account of these differences of outlook. His business is only to say: ‘This is what happened,’ when he knows that it actually did happen…”

Norwegian thrash metal combo UNDER THE OAK Drop New Video "Hymn For The Fallen"!

                                  NEWSpresent

"Hymn For The Fallen" [Official Music Video]

Under The Oak - Hymn For The Fallen - YouTube

Video to the song "Hymn For The Fallen", from the debut album "Ripped Up By The Roots", 2020. (WormholeDeath records).

Video and editing by Terje Johansen (Metaworks).

«Hymn for the Fallen» is the new video from our debut album “Ripped up by the Roots”. The video celebrates the 1-year anniversary of its release. This product comes to you from the mighty Metaworks, our good friend and trusted companion. We are very happy with how it turned out. The video/song is about how we all fall from time to time, and it involves some pretty impressive acting from the band members. Well, maybe not true that last part, but the video is part serious, part humorous…just as we like it. Life is serious business, of course, but if you take it too seriously all the time, it becomes boring and tedious… We like to entertain and have fun with our music. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we are very serious about our music. We would like to extend our eternal thanks to those of you who enjoyed “Ripped up by the Roots”. We hope you’ll enjoy this video just as much.

About Under The Oak

The inception of UNDER THE OAK took place during the not too distant past. Initially it was just about friends coming together to honour our Speed and Thrash Metal heroes from the eighties, and we fashioned ourselves being a tribute band of that era. We rehearsed songs from Exodus, Testament, Flotsam & Jetsam, Candlemass and so on, until we had a respectable set. We played some shows doing only covers, but as we were progressing, the thrash-riffs also started turning up. Suddenly we had a bundle of our owns songs and we started putting a few UNDER THE OAK-originals into the shows. The result of this is the album RIPPED UP BY THE ROOTS, consisting of 10 original songs and 2 cover songs. Make no mistake, WE ARE STILL A TRIBUTE BAND and will continue paying homage to the eighties, but we will do so both through our own material and through cover songs. A regular UNDER THE OAK show will be a mixture of this, but still weighing heavily on the cover material. So far, we’ve concentrated on American stuff, for some reason, but now we’ve focused a bit on Germany and there will be many surprises in the upcoming UNDER THE OAK-shows.

End of Days - A World Reborn & LITHIK Weather The Storm

 Hometown: Australia / USA
Style: Groove Metal

For fans of: Slipknot, Hellyeah, Chimaira

Australia/USA based Metal band End of Days is set to drop their debut EP A World Reborn on October 1st independently, packed with groove and raw sound. All songs reflect how the world is today. On vocals is Sean Zatorsky from Sinsaenum.

While there is one softer song on this EP which was made for the drummer's late mother, we wanted to put it on the EP for anyone who has lost loved ones through these hard times.
This EP strongly reflecting the world we are in today so sit back and enjoy what you are hearing. The band is today releasing the lyric video for the song Scare-American Dream.

Sean Z about the single/video:
"I wrote the track at a rough time in America, in the middle of the pandemic, I watched riots break out in every city.  I watched cities burn, our capital stormed, and taken over. Our money was being spent like it was in an endless supply, and a president could care less about the real problems facing this country.   The American dream was dead and the only thing left was fear.  People refuse simple modern science and medicine but run to the hospital when they get sick. The Scare-American Dream was a perfect title for that's what this country has evolved into. The lyrics were inspired by George Carlin “the funny thing about the  American dream is you have to be asleep  to believe it”

Tim adds:
"Sadly everything Scare-American Dream is written about has become somewhat a reality for Australia now."

Lineup:
Sean Zatorsky “Sinsaenum”
Vocals
Tim Butler
Drums
Brock Wing Jan
Guitar
Tim Parkinson
