Mighty Music release plan 2nd half year 2020 updated

Who would have thought, in the beginning of the year, that 2020 would have such a troubled first half and an uncertain second half? Still, Mighty Music and Target persevere. We refuse to go down without fighting and we always try to see the opportunities in the downtimes.

Find below our release plan for the remaining months of this year. We'll have a handful of exciting records to put out and make one hell of a soundtrack for the months to come, refusing to just let go of our artists and plans. Will you join us in this fight?

Danish thrash metal cannonball Demolizer to release new album in September

DEMOLIZER, formed in 2018, plays gut-crushing, hard-hitting, and unfiltered thrash metal that will have you picking up your teeth with crushed fingers after barely surviving the pit.

Demolizer is the manifestation of a big, angry middle finger pointed towards the Establishment, giving you the hardest, fastest, and thrashiest thrash metal you could ever dream of! If you like Slayer, Exodus, and/or, Municipal Waste, then you will love these guys.

The band was formed in 2014, and released their first EP, "Ghoul", four years later. But it was the following year of 2019 that was the real game-changer; Demolizer made the finals in the Danish W:O:A Metal Battle, and released a demo + single - both D.I.Y-produced and released on Spotify. 2019 was also spent touring Russia and Denmark, as well as completing their new debut album, "Thrashmageddon", which will be released in digital, CD and LP formats by Mighty Music on September 11th. Brace yourselves, this album is one big skull-shattering blow to the back of your head!
"Thrashmageddon" was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Ballade Studios by Lasse Ballade. The producer has only good things to say about the band: “Demolizer possesses everything that the Danish metal scene has been missing. It's 100% intensity and aggression without any unnecessary fucking around. But what really caught my attention with Demolizer is that they can really write songs. Songs full of riffs and hooks, and songs that stick to your mind like a piece of gum under your left sneaker after they've torn you apart in the pit.”
“Thrashmageddon” will be released in digital, CD, and LP by Mighty Music on September 11th, 2020.
Tracklist:
01. Copenhagen Burning
02. Cancer In The Brain
03. NTC
04. Bloodshot Eyes
05. Gore
06. Until The Day I Die
07. Lost In Torment
08. Built On Slavery
09. MSW

Selling points:
- Debut album by new Danish thrash powerhouse!
- Produced by Lasse Ballade (Konvent & Solbrud)
- Finalist in the Danish Wacken Metal Battle

Line up:
Ben "Polle" Radtleff: guitars, vocals
Aria Mobbarez: guitars
Bjørn "Krölle" Hjortgaard: bass

German speed metal legends Iron Angel to release new album in October

Iron Angel to release new album in October
German speed metal legend IRON ANGEL returns this year with the release of their forthcoming fourth studio album “Emerald Eyes“, which is set for release in October of 2020 by Mighty Music.

The follow-up to their 2018 comeback album “Hellbound“, which gathered massive reviews (see below) sees the band maturing and refining their sound without compromising intensity and aggression, quite the contrary. The new release brings back a lot of the thrashiness, that has been somewhat absent from anything the band has done since their 1985 debut „Hellish Crossfire“. On the other hand, the songwriting, the performances, and the overall package, everything has reached a new level in quality and with it’s clear (though not sterile) production, the band sounds fresh, hungry, and energetic.

“We wanted to improve in every way possible“, says drummer Maximilian Behr and continues: “On one hand we wanted to even further go back to the sound of “Hellish Crossfire“, but on the other hand we also wanted to play to our own strengths, rather than the ones of others and I think we really managed to do that. With “Emerald Eyes“ we married the past with the present at last and now we set our eyes onto the future.“

Upon their return to activities in 2015, Iron Angel had toured like hell, having played in North-America, South-America and across Europe. Festivals such as Play It Loud, Nordic Noise, Metalbash, Headbangers Open Air, Metal Forces, Metallysee and Up the Hammers have tasted the band's live roar. And many more will taste it as well when Iron Angel resume their live activities in the beginning of 2021, with Bavarian Battle Open Air (DE) and Mangualde Hardmetalfest (PT) already confirmed.

"It is clear to many that "Hellish Crossfire" was a genre-defining record, but with "Hellbound" it is evident that Shroder's new-look Iron Angel are on the cusp of a revival" Powerplay Magazine 9/10
