Boston/Massachusetts sickest perverts finally back after SIXTEEN years with a NEW album of degenerating, grinding and schizoid technical Brutal Death! Feat. current and ex members from Deeds Of Flesh, Arsis and Job For A Cowboy.

Emerging from Massachusetts in 2000, Goratory quickly established themselves with an aggressive, hard partying style, debaucherous live show and technical musicianship. Releasing 3 full length albums (2001’s Sexual Intercorpse, 2002’s Orgasm Induced Diarrhea, and 2004’s Rice on Suede), touring internationally and performing at high profile death metal festivals around the world, the band has forever left its mark on the Brutal Death Metal scene. Semi-notorious as the band where most major death metal musicians from New England got their start, Goratory was a launching pad for members who later played with notable acts such as Arsis, Deeds of Flesh, Job for A Cowboy, The Black Dahlia Murder, Despised Icon, Sexcrement, and Abnormality.
After a spell of inactive years, finally, the great shit show of 2020 was fully realized as the ultimate lineup of Adam Mason (Vocals), Al Glassman (Guitars), Zach Pappas (Bass) and Darren Cesca (Drums) has returned! Sour Grapes, the band's first studio album in 16 years is the fourth dose of bulbous fungus that these evolved, belligerent assholes have consumed and shat upon the world. It's disgusting. You're gonna love it.

Gryftigæn - Graven til Måneåpenbaringer Inferna Profundus Records Release: 23 November 2020

Gryftigæn is consecrated in anno 2019 by “Lord Valtgryftåke” Guitars/Lyrics/Vocals. Subsequently be part “Lord Nbl Dmn III” Drums/Percussions. Through different magical sounds and spectral vibrations what characterizes as “Oneiric Nigredo” the magical articulation of this muziek is crystallized and channeled through the empyrical prisms of the Death worship-Black sorcery & Privitivism. This entity revives the ancient legacy of the 90´s dark ages in the witchcraft path, the essence is to embody itself as the sacralical acts of reverberation and the poisonous enchantment of Man. The name “Gryftigæn” consists of two ancient words fragmented from the Poisonous that is described in Germanic texts and ancient words from Proto-escandinavian themes referred to “Place of rest or Buried”.

“Pneuma D´yakh” It was one of the first hymns of high magic that demostrated the musical level of these two tyrants from the land of eternal mist “Valdivia” located in the south of Chile. A distant and mysterious city wrapped of mystical ancient traditions and ruins, it was the beginning to consecrate on of the most ambitious magical acts entitled “Pneuma D´yakh” empirically it is the solar entrance to one of the initiation chapters, carefully manipulated with a mystical allegory reflected in a single sonority.

“Graven til Måneåpenbaringer” is an exclusive and exquisite cavernous odyssey at Oneiric Nigredo and the sacred canticles on the dark side of the Eden, they will mainly consist of five extensive and aggressive pieces of impetuous ritual raw black metal ambient divided into hellish appedix. One of the dark conspiracies solemnly dedicated to the Coven “Pure Raw Underground Black Metal Plague & Valdivian Black Circle”

Eulogy release music video for track ‘Cross To Bare’

Welsh hard-rockers Eulogy have released a brand new music video for their track ‘Cross To Bare’; taken from their recent EP ‘Memento Mori’.

Recorded at Coda Recording Studios and mixed and mastered by Neil Garland; ‘Cross To Bare’ showcases the band’s melodic hard rock sound. The powerful vocals of lead singer and bassist Neil Thomas take centre stage; backed by equally powerful lyrics - the track depicts the feelings of losing someone close, and ultimately dealing with that loss.

The video itself - featuring the band members performing in front of a fiery backdrop - is home-shot: a testament to the band’s personal hard work and DIY ethic even during the Coronavirus pandemic.

ISIULUSIONS – I – FOLLOW THE FLOW– I – FOLLOW THE FLOW ( Review by Varg The Mighty )

Today’s review is of Austrian Gothic Black Metal band Isiulusions’ debut album, a curious and definitely original mix of two genres.
This band gets the speed and characteristics of Black Metal and then suddenly at half song they completely change it for soft, mostly acoustic Gothic Metal, which in this case reminds of Lake Of Tears and similar bands. This blend reminds us of other kind of soft Black Metal bands like Fluisteraars, but the particular ideas of this band are definitely unique.
On some songs like “Fire Is No Harm” and “Sentenced To Misery” this blend is well done, but on most songs it seems unnatural and forced, a mistake that shall hopefully be corrected in future albums. While the Black Metal voice is quite good, the clear one lacks some of the deepness and power needed to sing Gothic, but this is compensated by beautiful riffs and precious acoustic interludes that help to create the intended atmosphere even if some songs break it a little.
Overall this is a decent and interesting album, but it may be a little too long with 13 tracks. I recommend this album if you like Black Metal, Atmospheric Black Metal, Gothic Metal and Folk Rock if you’re interested in odd new ideas.
