Video Nasty is a Thrash/Death/Speed Metal project from Calgary/Vancouver, Canada started by Jordan Schritt. Jordan wanted to start a project which lyrically dealt with all of the 70’s/80’s/90’s slasher/horror movies he adored. This together with furious Metal was the perfect combination. He started to compose a bunch of songs and wrote lyrics to these songs that were all tied to one specific movie per song. Once he gathered enough material to record an EP Jordan asked a few friends to participate in this project. He also made sure that the artwork for this EP was perfect for the content. All in all this EP rages and rips as gruesomely as all the movies the lyrics were based on. Furious 80’s Thrash Metal with lyrics comprised of all the filth that deranged moviemakers came up with.

Canada's DISEMBODIMENT stream CALIGARI debut EP at MetalBite.com - features members of OATH DIV. 666

Today, Canadian death metal upstarts Disembodiment stream the entirety of their highly anticipated debut EP, Mutated Chaos, at heavily trafficked web-portal MetalBite.com. Set for international release on May 6th via Caligari Records on cassette tape format, hear Disembodiment's Mutated Chaos in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Hailing from the Sherbrooke/Montréal area of Quebec, Canada's Disembodiment are devout disciples of early '90s death metal. For them, Incantation's first two albums are perfection, and they equally draw influence from the likes of Grotesque Infection, Disma, Rottrevore, and Undergang among others. But, while the name Disembodiment might seem like a new one, the band largely picks up from predecessor Oath Div. 666, who released an album, Apocalypse Division, in 2019.

No more but definitely no less, Disembodiment's first recording, the six-song/15-minute Mutated Chaos, offers all-caps DEATH METAL for death metal maniacs, by death metal maniacs. Theirs is a sound proudly stuck in 1992, lumbering ominously within radioactive slime one minute and then galloping upon broken bones the next, gutted slow-boulder doom one minute and clanging dissonant riffery the next. For a short recording, it's swift and satisfying, and teases the devout for more ungodly death to come. The recording is also remarkably accomplished, sharp and sinewy and crushing in equal measure, with a vintage drum sound to die for.

The old ways are best, when it comes to death metal, and we're inclined to agree with Disembodiment on evidence of Mutated Chaos!

EMPIRE OF DISEASE: Sign With Wormholedeath & Announce "With All My Hate" Album

Basque Country based Metal band EMPIRE OF DISEASE have signed a deal with Wormholedeath for the release of their debut album "With All My Hate" out on June the 25th, 2021 worldwide.

The album was recorded at Chromatiticy Studio, mixed and mastered by Pedro J. Mongeand and it contains 10 tracks of modern Death Metal/Thrash with killer riffs and powerful songs.

Biography

Empire of Disease is a metal band formed in Bilbao (Basque Country) in 2015 by Sergio (Guitarist) and Iban (Drums), under the name Nightmare Within. After several changes of musicians, it was not until 2018 that the band achieved a stable formation.

They began to have their first concerts in January 2019 and to produce their first work called “Silence is Violence”, which includes five songs. This work was released at the end of June of that year and was published and produced by the band itself. This EP was followed by the Demential Tour, where the band toured the north of the Iberian Peninsula and France. This tour was also supposed to pass through Portugal and more Spanish cities, but due to the health alert in the world, the remaining scheduled dates were canceled.

In late 2020 and early 2021 the band recorded what will be their second new album and first LP at Chromaticity Studios in Bilbao, which has been mixed and mastered by producer, guitarist and composer Pedro J. Monge.

In March 2021 the band signed a record contract with Wormholedeath Records (Italy, Japan, USA, Norway), they will be in charge of launching this new album called "With all my Hate" in June of the same year.
