After six acclaimed record labels, both at a Latin American and global level, the distinguished extreme metal ensemble premieres its seventh full-length release, which arrives to definitively consolidate its position as standard bearers of the Swedish Death Metal style in the region. "We always try to experiment by getting to a level above our abilities," states the band. "The sound approach is the same, always faithful to the roots of Swedish Death Metal. However, we tried to add certain elements of our musical tastes so that the result of this album was different." The album Triumphantly Evil was released on February 21, 2021. This seventh record of the band is presented as a faster and more aggressive one. Those are the elements that the musicians sought to capture in this record work. The lyrics of the album deal with Satanist themes, but not from the most literal and diabolical aspect of the concept, quite the opposite. Nocturnal Hollow immerses the listener in the dark and recondite aspects of the human being. We all have a very dark part within us, side that Triumphantly Evil will help us to wake up. White Death releases "Spirits of open Fields", single follows the line of melodic metal with aggressive heavy metal riffs

The metal band, White Death, has just released the new single "Spirits of open Fields" on all streaming platforms.

"Spirits of open Fields" is a song that has the purpose of sensitizing, bringing up emotions that, many times, we are unable to quantify, for example: a child's sincere smile, dreams, fantasies, naivete, among other aspects that make up the values brought by music. The entire instrumental was designed to function as a lullaby, alternating between delicacy and more intense rhythms, melodious vocals and a guitar solo that packs all this atmosphere of good vibes.

The track was produced, recorded and mastered by Loud Factory Studios in São Paulo - Brazil, under the direction of Wagner Meirinha and Thiago Assolini.

The third single released by the band White Death has the cover art produced by the designer Fábio Vargas. The reference worked on in this drawing is time and its measurement through our personal values and (de) constructions that we make throughout life. Although the world is going through troubled times due to the pandemic, still, the sincere and innocent look of a child manages to impact us in such a way as to revise our priorities with the time that we still have.

The group's latest releases continue to gain prominence in the international media, not only for its weight and aggressiveness, but also for the quality of Heavy Metal that the band plays. Priscylla Moreno continues to win fans with her unique and peculiar voice, following the line of Melodic Metal with symphonic touches and excellent arrangements by the musicians.

Formed by Priscylla Moreno (Vocal), Aldo Velasco (Bass), Alan Jhonny (Guitar), Flávio Lempresley (drums) and Caio Monteiro (Guitar) the band brings in its name the influence of the stories of Simo Häyhä, a Finnish farmer who participated the winter war between Finland and the Soviet Union in 1939, who was considered a national hero in his country because of his achievements in the war. At its base, it is possible to observe the strong influence of other bands such as Iron Maiden, DIO, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Metallica, Nightwish, among others.

Válvera launch new videoclip "The Damn Colony"

 

With a balance between aggressive sound, rough and rough vocals and instrumental variety, the new thrash metal band Válvera continues to promote the album "Cycle Of Disaster", released in 2020 on the label Brutal Records. With a great production, the band launches the music video for the track “The Damn Colony”, which had an exclusive preview on the Metal Hammer Portugal website. Based on one of the worst episodes in Brazilian history, the song tells about the Hospital Colônia de Barbacena, the psychiatric hospital founded in 1903. With a capacity of 200 beds, the hospital housed an average of 5,000 thousand patients and became known for the genocide that occurred between the 60s and 80s. Official estimates report over 60,000 deaths occurred inside the wards due to medical malpractice and torture over the years. Italian Psychiatrist Franco Basaglia compared the place to a Nazi concentration camp. “We chose this song precisely because it is a delicate theme and very little publicized in our country, and also because it is one of the best songs on the album. The hospital was designed to contain the undesirable. About 70% of the inmates had no diagnosis of mental illness. There were sent 'unpleasant and uncomfortable people', such as political opponents, prostitutes, homosexuals, beggars, among other marginalized groups in society. As artists, we have an obligation to speak, to be the voice of the people, to ask questions so that episodes like this will never be repeated”, comments the band in an interview with Metal Hammer Portugal. .

Válvera uses the “ambient” or “atmospheric” Thrash riff, a melodic phrase line concluding abruptly in a prolonged resolution to center each riff and create a mesmerizing effect on the listener. Lyrics are mainly fantastic, focusing on the history of which addresses various catastrophes that happened in Brazil and its people. Deliberate songwriting with simple implements and intents clarifies into immersive and sensual sound. The album "Cycle Of Disaster" received excellent reviews in media around the world, being listed as one of the best releases of 2020.
