TESLA SHAMANS: highly-awaited single SHAMANS out now! 🔥

Tesla Shamans are proud to present their first single Shamans, which anticipates their debut album Electric Storm out on May 17, 2021.

The band was born between 2018 and 2019; on vocals, we find Steve Crow - ex Mr Riot -, on guitar Paul Gun - ex Østili - while on bass there is Tom - ex Mr Riot, Karnar -. The drummer Bellix - ex Niamh, Østili - is added only at a later time.
The project ranges from Hard Rock typical of the eighties and contaminated by Blues influences, to refined Riffs wisely blended with more contemporary sounding Synths, all immersed in a shamanic scenario overwhelmed by the frequencies of the Earth.

Speaking about the single, the singer, Steve Crow, declares: "Shamans is inspired by the awakening of the conscience of the individual speaking of the transformation of the ego, freed from the illusion of society, and immersed in the path of awareness. The Call turns out to be a difficult path to take, the heart becomes heavy and the scenery around it takes on an almost macabre aspect up to the reflexive apotheosis of the journey, a preamble to the final metamorphosis. Therefore, the composition is inspired by the experience of choosing the shaman, a channel of all energies."
Tom, the bassist, regarding the video accompanying Shamans adds: “We had the opportunity to shoot Shamans during one of the reopenings of this period, where just being able to be was almost a world event. In short, a day with friends with the excuse of playing a little: Paul Gun has even dusted off his hat for special occasions! After all, going to lunch break dressed as shamans is certainly an excellent strategy to convince people that the call is close: we only risked it being the police! ".

So enjoy this mystical journey, here Shamans, the first video of Tesla Shamans extracted from their debut album Electric Storm:

EMISSARY Welcomes New Guitarist / Issues Updates on Recording, Fest Appearance, and more!

Medford (OR) - Much has happened since Southern Oregon melodic thrashers EMISSARY recently announced its reformation after a 25-year hiatus, and the recording of a new album with Germany's Underground Power Records. The band has teamed up with producer/engineer Doug Hill (60 Psycho Hum), known for his work with SYLENT STORM, HELMET, NEUROSIS mainman Scott Kelly, and Grammy winners MASTODON. Hill is mixing/mastering one track from EMISSARY's forthcoming album, which will appear on an upcoming Soulgrinder Zine compilation later this year.

In addition, the band has added Pete Kinney’s former CORE SYSTEM FAILURE bandmate Jon Holden to the quintet, which features members of the classic EMISSARY lineup; Kinney’s Curtain Call Records bandmate Tim Dahlen from SONIC OCTANE on lead guitar, drummer Eric Hoover and SYLENT STORM frontman Jym Harris. In addition, POSSESSED axeman Claudeous Creamer will make a guest appearance on at least one EMISSARY track in the near future.

Last but certainly not least, the current members are excited to be playing a hybrid set at Redwood Metalfest on August 21 under the banner of SYLENT STORM, whose 2020 LP The Fire Never Dies will be released on vinyl by Germany’s Underground Power Records in the coming months. The newest lyric video for the acoustic “Sleeping In The Rain” just dropped and can be viewed at youtu.be/TSZgyQXcNXw

As previously reported, an official lyric video for the demo version of new EMISSARY track "The Silent Treatment" is available at this location.

EMISSARY is known for blending straightforward mid-paced (late 80s/early 90s style) Bay Area-inspired Thrash with classic headbanging US Power Metal. The upcoming LP will feature newly recorded tracks from EMISSARY’s 90’s back catalog plus brand new material as well. Their West Coast American style has been compared to bands like DEATH ANGEL, PANIC, FORBIDDEN and early METALLICA.

Ouija awakens extreme blackness in Selenophile Impia, their new release

Ouija awaken the most extreme blackness in Selenophile Impia, their new release

Ouija, the historic black metal band from Monzón (Huesca), will publish next Friday, May 28, Selenophile Impia, their new EP. Recorded and mixed by Xavier Esterri at the Nomad Studio in Lleida and mastered by Magnus Andersson at the Endarker Studio in Sweden (Marduk, Ofermod, Funeral Mist, IXXI, Ragnarok ...), we are facing three songs as cold as the winter of their land, respectful totally devoted 90s Scandinavian sound.

With a cover by César Valladares and a layout by Calduch Studios, Selenophile Impia will be released by the Negra Nit label, who will once again attack with the purest black thanks to this alliance with one of the pioneering bands of the style in our country.

Eight years after their second album Ave Voluptatis Carnis, Ouija are back with new acquisitions such as Shogoth on bass (Ered, Onirophagus) or Labelua on drums (Apostles Of Perversion, With All My Hate, ex by Ered, Atrexial or Abrahel) , proving that black is their life and that they will never stop invoking dark powers.
