Katre is a Berlin-based instrumental post-rock/metal band formed in 2014.
The band takes its name from the old Arabic word “katre” which means the “drop”.
One distinguishing aspect of Katre is that they tell stories with their songs and create concept albums.
Their debut album “Encounters” was released in 2017 via Fluttery Records.
Τhe 2nd studio album of the band entitled “Behind the Resilience” tells a refugee story.
“Behind the Resilience” is produced by Chris Edrich (Gojira, Tesseract, The Ocean, Klone, Leprous)
and will be available on digital platforms on 30th September 2021.

AFTER DUSK – THE CHARACTER OF PHYSICAL LAW (Review by Varg The Mighty )
Today’s review is of Greek Heavy Metal band After Dusk’s album “The Character Of Physical Law”.
While an exact subgenre is hard to pin for this album, it clearly has the essence of Greek Heavy Metal, although sometimes it adopts a harder sound more comparable with Thrash Metal, an epic undertone of Power Metal or the overall glory of Epic Heavy Metal at its finest.
Even with this broad definition some details escape, such as the occasional fuzzy sound of Stoner Metal or the perfectly implemented keyboards which offer the grandiose singularity of these songs, adding additional layers to their modern-Iron Maiden-like melodies. Combined with an ideal voice, the album sounds better after each play once their uniqueness stops being so enigmatic. My personal highlights are “Masters Of Earth” and “Even The Sun Must Die”.
I recommend this album to fans of Epic Heavy Metal, Power Metal, Stoner Metal and Thrash Metal. My rating is of 9/10.

DEATH METAL POWER FROM BEYOND (Review by Varg The Mighty)
Today’s review is of Horror Pain Gore Death Productions’ upcoming new compilation, out on September 24th.
Featuring 16 exclusive new tracks from classic underground masters such as Mortuary or Nominon together with promising new projects like Sacrifixion, this compilation not only spans a broad temporary and international range, you’ll also find straightforward OSDM by Undergang besides gloomy Death Doom by Anatomia, and American Death Metal by Putrisect besides pure Swedish Death Metal by Inisans, together with everything in between. There is also an Obituary cover by Leprophiliac and a Nihilist cover by Coffins that add to the pure old-school essence of the compilation.
Thanks to a well-thought tracklist, many times you won’t even notice a new song has started, thinking only that the Death Metal greatness has just shifted slightly in style. This is possibly the best compilation of the year, delivering some of the most powerful acts of many countries in a single release.
I recommend this album to fans of any kind of Death Metal. My rating is of 9,5/10.
