Ecdysis out January 7, 2022 via Napalm Records | Pre-Order HERE
Moldovan progressive modern metal unit INFECTED RAIN have become one of the most exciting new acts in the heavy music world, with charismatic, multi-talented frontwoman Lena Scissorhands emerging as one of the fastest-rising leading ladies of the genre. Now, the band arises from the dark depths once again – freshly off their very first tour of the USA with Butcher Babies and Stitched Up Heart – to reveal the next chapter of their metamorphosis. The band will release their otherworldly fifth album, Ecdysis, on January 7, 2022 via Napalm Records!
INFECTED RAIN redefine themselves with the follow up to 2019’s Endorphin. Ecdysis electrifies with resonating riffs, cosmic electronics, Lena’s treasure trove of vocal abilities and intense lyrical themes ranging from depression and abandonment to embracing reality – showcasing the band’s advancement while blending extreme, progressive groove with dark, haunting melody.
Today, fans can get a first taste of Ecdysis by witnessing the brand new single, “Postmortem Pt. 1”, and its cerebral music video. The potent track dispenses the band’s patented formula instantly, with eerie synth-laden soundscapes seamlessly cascading into countless layers of cosmic atmosphere backed by thick, grooving riffs, barreling drums and skyscraper growls.
Frontwoman Lena Scissorhands says about “Postmortem Pt. 1”:
“Postmortem is about the constant search.
The never happy, never content…
Blind to the real treasures of life, we constantly want more and more…”
Watch the official music video for “Postmortem Pt. 1” HERE:
Produced once again by Valentin Voluta, Ecdysis successfully demonstrates ultramodern brutality without sacrificing emotion and melody – showcasing a new layer of INFECTED RAIN that longtime followers and new fans alike will embrace.
Frontwoman Lena Scissorhands adds about Ecdysis:
"While the whole world was in a deep depression, Ecdysis was slowly but surely maturing. The time in isolation away from all our plans and goals, away from loved ones and the stage, brought out something so new and different in us. A new chapter starts with this album, a chapter of raw emotions and complete commitment."
Tracks like “Fighter” bring out the ruthlessness of the band in full force with hardcore levels of aggression, inciting a tornado of rhythms and provoking lyricism beckoning the listener to stay focused in the here-and-now and fight! Featuring tough-as-nails Butcher Babies vocalist Heidi Shepherd, sonically slaughtering single “The Realm Of Chaos” pummels and bends as it decimates with a mosh-attack unlike any other on Ecdysis. Noteworthy standouts like “Longing” and “These Walls” ransack with instant angst while showcasing some of the most varying guitar work on Ecdysis – fluxing between churning grooves, towering leads, technical effects and ominous chords – while selections such as “Everlasting Lethargy”, “November” and “Never The Same” boast some of Lena Scissorhands’ most eclectic vocal performances amid ripping pit-worthy metalcore and dazzling electronic passages. Examples of stunning, dynamic songwriting manifest with honest offerings like the impressive “Goodbye”, haunting “Showers” and threatening album closer “Postmortem Pt. 2” (shortly advanced by sneaking electro-interlude “Nine, Ten”). The finisher encapsulates the album’s ethereal, immense quality while connecting back to its start like a sonic ouroboros.

Both sonically and lyrically, the debut EP from Bone Tower, “We All Will Die One Day” represents
a collective status of disarray. Challenging speed and complex rhythms
serve to accelerate unfavourable feelings to the forefront of your mind.
The first single off this succinct record is “Mangled Wounds”,
the words in which are totally up for interpretation and expresses a
couple of different personal thoughts. According to the band, it was
written both literally, outlining repeated trauma; as well as
figuratively, about how one might process anxiety and depression. They
continue to explain in their own words:
“Opening
abruptly with tremorous blast beats and rattling vocals, this tune
wastes no time in delivering its taunting message. With a sense of
urgency, the cryptic lyrics rest upon escalating guitar licks, as drums
rapidly push this anthem to the point of no return. Briefly, you are
allowed to catch a quick breath, only to be slingshotted into a barrage
of open chugs. The mainline ‘mangled wounds torn open again...’ is
chanted back at you, and you are plunged into the second interlude
track, ‘Cower Away’.”
The eight tracks on the EP come in at just over nine minutes, but capture a full array of raucous violence. “We All Will Die One Day” is abrasive, pissed off, and fatiguing. If you’re into that kind of thing, you'll like it.
Bone Tower is
a fresh group having started in February of this year, they came
together with the sole purpose of creating this record, and have
delivered on that with this auditory assault. The band worked
collaboratively writing and performing the songs, it was produced,
mixed, and mastered by Michael Bowers and the album artwork was done by
Jonas Deviller.
For fans of grindcore and death metal, Bone Tower is suitable for fans of Full of Hell, Pig Destroyer, and Cryptopsy.
The single “Mangled Wounds” can be heard via its premiere on IDIOTEQ HERE.
The EP “We All Will Die One Day” will drop on November 5, 2021 via No Funeral Records & Fresh Outbreak Records.

Bone Tower is the musical equivalent of the chaos ensuing globally since last year. An angry jab back at the universe for anyone who was angry and watched the world unfold with racial upheaval, conservatives and conspiracists coming out of the woodwork against Covid, economic regression with millions losing jobs, the entire world changing beneath our feet, and for the politicians who claimed to be on our side but continue to fight against the truth.
The trio of Jonas DeViller (vocals/electronics/lyrics), Sean Carroll (guitar/bass), and Michael Bowers (guitar/bass/vocals) is a seasoned one at that and they were able to quickly write and produce their debut EP ‘We All Will Die One Day’ in two weeks. It came together as a whole very quickly and organically.
This is just the start for Bone Tower, they already have a follow-up record in the works. As of now, they are mostly a recording project but they intend on eventually playing shows. When they do finally play live, it’s bound to be just as fucked up as the recording.
EP ‘We All Will Die One Day’ is due out November 5, 2021.

Today’s review is of Canadian War Metal band Bestial Putrefaction’s debut album.
In only 28 minutes, these 26 tracks of pure gory depravity display the band’s talent in portraying a sonic description of aggression. Combining the already brutal War Metal sound with elements of Noise and Goregrind in a clear early Carcass worship, the release also has some certain darkness in its sound that adds its satanic side to top the evil here composed. The mix of all this reminds of other War Metal acts from Canada such as Revenge, making this another opus of pure Canadian Extreme Metal.
Although this violent album may serve well to free your inner caveman, after a while the songs keep sounding more and more similar, with almost the same length and intro. While there are some exceptions in the tracklist that go a step further and are nice pieces of Metal in its most extreme form, the main flaws of the release is its monotonousness and attachment to a too well-defined formula, though these aspects may surely improve in future albums.
I recommend this album to fan
s of War Metal and Goregrind. M
y rating is of 8/10.
VARG THE MIGHTY
cantantes,solo conocia a Javi Gianno (Suicide Brothers/Cyan Bloodbane/Steelforce/Halloween).

"Still Loving You","Rhythm of Love","Blackout","Rock You Like A Hurricane",Bad Boys Running
Wild",The Zoo" , "Pictured Life","On the Way" de su album Ep de 2014 y "Transition" de su segundo album "Transition
