ORDINUL NEGRU & DECAY

EP, Digital / 6 panel Digipak CD, November 26, 2021
 Occult Black Metal from Romania

“A Sojourner Wandering Through the Barren Openness” represents the other side of the coin of our experimentation after we released the Nebuisa EP last year.
We crafted this time an ambitious project of one song over 23 minutes, in which we have encapsulated all our knowledge and desire of an avantgarde and forward thinking approach, in relation to our musical journey in the black cult. We are not afraid to push genre’s limits, to incorporate old raw trv sprit and new orchestral elements together, to find that alchemic potion of catharsis.
Conceptually we developed a moment in time when a chosen eremite sees it all…the birth of the Earth and the ancestral truths, the crucifixion of the Nazarene and when the sky turned black and cleared the civilization in a majestic canvas, an epic poem inspired by old chronicles and forgotten dusted parchments."

Post / Sludge / Black Metal from Romania

Long-awaited and highly-anticipated second full-length album by KULTIKA, one of the first Romanian Post Metal bands. Musically speaking, KULTIKA's horizon broadened into long instrumental passages, experimenting with a 70’s progressive and psychedelic infusion into the band's classic roots of Post / Sludge / Black Metal, gathering in the end a strange and hermetic mix-up that has its own style.

Living Inferno - "A True Believer"

Listen "A True Believer"

Living Inferno began in the autumn of 2019 when J.K. and K.N. left their previous band Whitemour. Additionally, the original lineup included the drummer J. Lepistö, who left Whitemour at the same time, and T. Piirto, who was a session bassist on the last concerts. Living Inferno was officially founded by this quartet in early 2020.

A year later J. Lepistö and T. Piirto left the band but they are still in touch with the band and supporting our journey. In February 2021 T. Hassi (Agarwaen, Wildfire) joined on the drums and P. Nisula (Rippikoulu) joined on the bass. Just before the recording of the debut EP P. Nisula left the band and all the bass lines were recorded by K.N. In the autumn of 2021, A. Kuhanen joined the band as a bassist, and thus the band's line-up has been assembled for future gigs and releases.

Since their departure from Whitemour, J.K. and K.N. resolved to unassumingly broaden their musical expression. Living Inferno combines the brutality of death metal with somber melodies, guitar solos and even clean vocals in addition to the aggressive death metal vocalization. The aim is to stay away from rigid genre boundaries, taking the most influence from the metal music of the 90s and 00s with the greatest focus on making versatile and personal music.

Living Inferno lineup:
K. Nyman – guitar, vocals, songwriting, lyrics
J. Kormano – guitar, synth, songwriting, lyrics
T. Hassi – Drums, percussions, synth, backing vocals
A. Kuhanen - Bass

All about Dystopia Digital, Angoixa's new album!

All about Dystopia Digital, Angoixa's new album!

Angoixa do not loosen. What is it, they are far from that ... They even go to more! Next Friday, December 17, the Catalan death metal band will publish Distopia Digital, their new album. Since Robert Garcia created the group in 2014 they have not stopped creating songs, adding music to the cause and releasing records, this being their fourth work and the successor of Esclaus De La Por, the album that in 2018 put them on the map. definitely.

Recorded and mixed at the Axtudio in Barcelona by Mr Ax and mastered by an entire Dan Swanö on his Unisound, Dystopia Digital smashes everything you want, of course it does, but it also brings interesting nuances underneath those layers of brutality, as well as the hint of melody that makes each of these seven songs stand out on its own. The cover of Daniel Alarcón has managed to perfectly capture what this album aims to convey.

Three years later, Angoixa hit us again with unprecedented security and maturity, resulting in "a dark and gloomy old-school death metal with high doses of social criticism in its lyrics," they tell us, "dealing with themes like war, the abuse of power, immigration, the fight for freedom and above all, attacking the digital evil that currently haunts us ”.

Sounds good right? Well, when these issues take your breath away, it will seem much better. On December 17, Angoixa will ruthlessly unleash their recipe against all the filth that plagues us these days, which is not exactly small. Single coming soon!

Cruzeiro - Cruzeiro (Interstellar Smoke Records, Vertebrae, Lunar Seas Records, Cain Records Release: 29 October 2021)

Intergalactic battles, paranormal activities, dismal deities, slowness... and presence, lots of presence. On 29 October Cruzeiro will release their eponymous debut album, but listening to their stoner doom, no one would say that this is their debut. Surely the experience of their vocalist Beatriz Onix, a sorceress who was previously in Misty Grey and Barren Plains, or the guitarist Gon.B, also a member of the black metallers Akouphenom, has a lot to do with it.
Recorded, mixed and mastered by Javi Félez at Moontower Studios (Teitanblood, Graveyard, Balmog, Barbarian Swords...) in early September 2020, Cruzeiro will make any acolyte of Electric Wizard, Om, Sleep, Black Sabbath, Reverend Bizarre, or Windhand cross portals to other planes through these four songs full of skillful spells.
These riffs like mountains, not exempt from moments of loaded and acid-drenched solos, have been underpinned by a layout and artwork by Beto in an artistic direction together with Beatriz. For this artwork they have compiled drawings by bassist Raposa! and this is a joint release between Interstellar Smoke Records for the CD and LP (in December if all goes well), Vertebrae also for the CD, and Lunar Seas Records and Cain Records for the tape.
In this initial album the Galician quartet has revealed itself as a perfect master of the style, adding a pinch of speed when needed and descending towards the most demolishing pause as doom metal demands. Connect your sixth sense to Cruzeiro and get ready for the trip.

Murmurs Of Earth Release New Single - Unwind

Emerging from their covid induced cocoon, Murmurs of Earth release their latest and most chilled single to date. ‘Unwind’ is a perfectly packaged slice of mellow retro pop, a modern take on an ‘80s vibe.

Murmurs Of Earth are Richard Sinclair (Coffee In Zurich, Almost) and Geoff Pickney (Glasshouse, The Nine, Mesh & Tenek)

Richard has been writing and recording since the early ‘80s and as a solo artist since ‘03. He was inspired to take a new direction after talking to legendary electronic music pioneer John Foxx (Ultravox, Nation 12, John Foxx And The Maths, Tiger Lily), Richard started working in collaboration with a collection of musicians, vocalists and creatives.

Richard teamed up with Geoff Pinckney in 2015 and Murmurs Of Earth was born.

Their first single “Take It All” was released in July ’16 and the debut album “New Horizons” in May ’19.

Murmurs Of Earth have gone from strength to strength during this period and in 2020 were nominated for Electro Act of the year by online station Radio Wigmam.

Refreshed and revitalised, Richard & Geoff are busy in the studio recording songs towards their next album release in 2022. They would be more than happy to take time out for any radio appearances or interviews.”
