Stream GODLESS’ States Of Chaos HERE.

Invisible Oranges is hosting an exclusive, advance stream of Hyderabad, India-based death metal crew GODLESS’ debut LP, States Of Chaos, which sees release this Friday.

On States Of Chaos, GODLESS delvers eight intense and unfaltering tracks of their thrash-laced death metal which pummel the listener into submission, while thematically exploring psychological trepidation and terror, phantasmagorias, and nightmare-inducing dreamscapes. The result is a uniquely vicious-sounding record that takes no prisoners.

With the drums recorded at Wind Horse Recording Studios, guitars and bass recorded at Infinity Studios, and the vocals recorded at Hydrozoa HQ, States Of Chaos was engineered by GODLESS’ Abbas Razvi, after which Poland’s Hertz Studio (Vader, Behemoth, Decapitated) handled the mixing and mastering duties, and the album was completed with artwork and design by New Salem and photography by David Dawson.

As part of their exclusive stream feature on States Of Chaos, Invisible Oranges writes, “This five-piece play modern death metal with plenty of thrash and excellent production for a band that doesn’t have a major label footing their bill, and States Of Chaos sets out to and succeeds at crushing skulls in a 1987 meets 2021 kind of way. Think of Demolition Hammer meeting the fury of Dying Fetus: the death thrash of old is strong with this band as well as some modern brutal death metal sections with everything heavy from that middle ground thrown in for good measure.”

Stream GODLESS’ entire States Of Chaos LP early and read the interview with the band now at Invisible Oranges RIGHT HERE.

GODLESS will independently release States Of Chaos on CD, LP, and digital platforms this Friday, November 19th. Find preorders alongside official and playthrough videos and more HERE.

Following the release of their signature beer and more, GODLESS will now perform a series of shows across India, with record launch shows booked/confirmed across six cities. E-FORCE Mindbender (album) Mighty Music Release: 19 November 2021

For fans of Voivod, Vektor & Kill Ritual.

Eric Forrest is what you can call “a lifer”. In 1994 he could already be seen singing and playing bass for cult sci-fi thrashers Voivod, with whom he stayed for seven years, before going out to form his own band E-FORCE. Throughout his subsequent 20 years career with E-Force (performing in 20 countries, 250+ shows, and several festival appearances) as well as some guests on different albums (Glen Drover, Kristian Niemann, to name a few), the ex-Voivod frontman will now return with the opus “Mindbender”, released via Mighty Music. “Mindbender” will still be in the catchy vein characterising the E-Force style, but will also add slower tempos parts and particular ambiences, making the connection with Eric’s venture as a cult member of Voivod.

E-Force was formed in Montreal, Canada in 2001 by vocalist/bassist, Eric Forrest, upon his departure from the legendary Canadian cyber metallers Voivod. In all Eric appeared on two studio masterpieces, “Negatron” and “Phobos”, on the live album, “Voivod Lives” and on the compilation: “Kronik”. When leaving Voivod, Forrest used his nickname, “E-Force”, as the name for his new band.

Labeled monsters of thrash, Eric Forrest’s wide array of musical influences and vocal capabilities set E-Force apart from the pack and ensure that this band is very original. E-Force released their debut album “Evil Forces” to widespread critical acclaim in 2003. Soon after Forrest relocated to France, resulting in a line-up change. Three more albums were released in the following years, cementing E-Force as an entity to be reckoned with in the thrash scene.

“Mindbender” will be released in digital, CD, and LP (two different colours available) by Mighty Music, on November 19th, 2021.

Line-up:
Eric Forrest - vocals, bass
Patrick Friedrich - drums
Sébastien Chiffot - guitars
