FHEDESH -single “Warning Signs” from homonymous album

“Warning Signs”

(Watch video here)

FHEDESH is a Dominican-American electronic DJ and producer based in Los Angeles, California,

that emerged on the L.A. late-night and after-hours scene in warehouses across Southern California.

Drawing inspiration from the practices of vampirism and theatrical dark expression,

FHEDESH’s music evokes feelings of mischief and sophistication, while also exploring concepts of immortality and lavish living.

FHEDESH’s mysterious life parallels that of some of the world's darkest figures, so listeners will find his music

and theatrical dark expression draws parallels to Witch House Experimental, Trap & Electronic Music,

while he is the creator and curator of Drac'Haus, the number one underground Gothic Club in Los Angeles.

FHEDESH’s new album "Warning Signs" is released on November 30th, 2021

and the first single out of the album is the same-titled song "Warning Signs"

SILENT OBSESSION Single "Against The Process" Out Now / Playthrough Video Released

"Against The Process" follows the release of this year's Countdown EP.

The band is available for e-mail interviews. Please respond to the press release if interested.

Silent Obsession is the brainchild of guitarist and composer Max Marginal. Influenced by bands including Decapitated and Morbid Angel among several other Death Metal bands, Silent Obsession raised the bar in the Algerian Metal scene with its raw sound of unadulterated, brutal metal music intertwined with dark realities. Originally beginning as a solo project in 2017, Silent Obsession transformed over the years into an ensemble of four members and catapulted its popularity, musical philosophy and technically brutal music compositions to another level with the release of its two EPs Lost and Countdown.

Making its mark with the release of its 2020 breakthrough debut EP entitled Lost, a 4-track EP depicting post apocalyptical and dystopian societies concepts within the depths of the contemporary human condition. Wanting to explore such ideologies, Max wrote and composed very precise material to matched these obscure themes visibly on the artwork of the Lost EP and audibly on its tracks including “Paranoia Activity”, “D.E.A.D” and “Destruction of the Spirit”. Gaining much traction, reviews and fandom from the success of Lost, Silent Obsession released its highly anticipated second EP entitled, Countdown on July 15. Themed by “the apocalypse, the end of the world,” says Max, Countdown features 3three tracks, the “Intro”, “End of An Era” and “Exhausted Resource."

Inspired by the box office cult movie classic “Mad Max”, Max’s artistic expression manifested into the formation of Silent Obsession and delves into the obscure and covertly, dark side of humanity and society as a whole. Emanating from Algeria’s capital city Algiers, Silent Obsession continues to enhance and help build the Extreme Metal Music community of Algeria with every track fuelled by the harsh realities of depression and degradation of the human behaviour, apocalypse and murder.

Necktwister is proud to add Exoto to its booking roster!

Death metal band Exoto left the womb at the end of 1989 in Belgium. They released several albums before splitting up in 1996. Before splitting up they release the cult classic “Carnival Of Souls” and shared the stage will all the greats of the scene in that day. They shared stages with Annihilator, Benediction, Grave, Gorefest, Malevolent Creation, Massacre, Morbid Angel and many more. The metal scene feasted on the presence of Exoto, sold out all of their releases multiple times. But it all comes with a bitter pill. Drummer Didier died in a car-crash, leaving the band with a heavy burden to bear. The band split up inf 1996 after releasing “A Thousand Dreams Ago” in 1995.

In 2012 Exoto performs a few reunion gigs due to of a lost bet, and release a best off album in 2014. This was planned as a last relic for the fans, but vocalist Chris does not want to let go of the legacy of Didier this time.
He searches for suitable band members and resurrects Exoto with a full line-up in 2016. In 2019 they released a new album called “Absolution in Death” via Dead By Dawn Records.

The band plans a successor, but due to the great pandemic this gets postponed to 2022. Exoto joins forces with Necktwister for booking support, get in touch if you’d like to book them at your venue!

ORDINUL NEGRU – A SOJOURNER WANDERING THROUGH THE BARREN OPENNESS

Today’s review is of Romanian Black Metal band Ordinul Negru’s new EP.

Consisting of a single lengthy track, this release may bring to mind in content as well as technical prowess Balmog’s “Pillars Of Salt” or Deathspell Omega’s “Chaining The Katechon”. With this considered, the EP also maintains the occult essence of their other releases such as “Sorcery Of Darkness”, with the same oppressive passages of aggression juxtaposed with clearer bits of not any more lenient mysticism.

The release certainly displays the band’s progression and maturity, though perhaps at times their growing ability may gnaw the essence of their older atmosphere. Nonetheless, this flaw is minimal and rarely appreciated, with their same hypnotical beauty being once again delivered. Fans of their older material and newcomers who enjoy the most occult kind of Black Metal may enjoy this song/EP alike. After each listen, it seems to grow in mysterious grandeur, so multiple plays are recommended to fully grasp its content.

I recommend this release to fans of Black Metal. My rating is of 9,5/10.
