SICKOMANIA – SICKOMANIA ( Review by Varg The Mighty )

 

Today’s review is of International Thrash Metal band Sickomania’s debut album.

This band delivers a powerful kind of Thrash Metal that reminds of Overkill or Nuclear Assault mixed with elements of Thrash Death Metal and cool sweep picking to give a heavier sound to the nonetheless catchy and sometimes melodic riffs. Adding some grooves too to the sound, the band have a fairly modern sound that is nevertheless straightforward and aggressive.

Fans of moshing-friendly American Thrash Metal and more melodic subgenres will enjoy this release alike, for both aspects are finely intertwined here in a way where one doesn’t damage the other despite their contradictable nature. While some parts are crafted with pure anger intended to break your neck with its susceptibility to induce headbanging, others are full of solos and even acoustic passages with a certain darkness to them. My personal highlights are “Slumberland Prophets” and “Beyond The Ninth Gate”.

I recommend this album to fans of American Thrash Metal, Thrash Death Metal and Technical Thrash Metal. My rating is of 8,5/10.

CREEPING FLESH - …AND THEN THE BOMBS CAME (Review by Varg The Mighty)

Today’s review is of Swedish Death Metal band Creeping Flesh’s upcoming new album, out on February 11^th.

This album delivers some fine old-school Death Metal in a mid-paced sort of way which may remind the listener of Asphyx (a comparison that also becomes apparent in the combination of the vocals with the music) or even Bolt Thrower in a much vaguer way, especially with the “Those Once Loyal” era in certain tracks.

These influences are adapted to a personal style rather than picked for imitation, and you can really feel the strength of Swedish Death Metal acts such as Grave or early Hypocrisy reflected too in this full-length. Some songs also have some bits of modernity that remind you that the album is from this century, and even though certain bits aren’t as classic, they add some differentiation and are compensated by a rather raw (but in a good way) recording. This release has enough personality as to not sound too generic without the cost of unnecessary experimentation. My personal highlights are “Like So Many Before Them” and “Obscure The Sun”.

I recommend this album to fans of Death Metal. My rating is of 8,5/10.

ANGUERE BRAZILIAN HARDCORE

Formed at the end of 2008 in the city of Rio Claro-SP, the band ANGUERE brings a
violent repertoire seeking to join some characteristics of the music
Brazilian with various styles of heavy music, performing an angry and aggressive sound.
In 2009, he recorded his first studio work under the name Anguerenguere.
The independent character CD contains six tracks and has been distributed since its

In 2014 the band ANGUERE returns to produce another independent work,
enters the recording studio releasing HxCxRxC which contains three tracks, nothing more

In 2015, he leaves full steam and goes back to the studio and this time to produce a
very professional job. In August 2015 the band releases their single CHOQUE with
music Estado de Choque that is a preview of the work that would come out at the end of the year.

October 2015 the band Bullying HC invites the band AGUERE to perform
a totally independent overproduction that would require a lot of professionalism from the
 bands, a live DVD entitled WEBCAST, telling about the coexistence in the
underground in the interior of the state of São Paulo. The work yielded many criticisms in the

In the first days of December 2015, ANGUERE releases its first official video
with overproduction. The video was produced by Estúdio Válvula 9, which has reference to
Corruption FxDxPx music that is in the recorded work of 2014 HxCxRxC. The video
gained worldwide proportions, it was published by the Hardcore World Wide channel.

And to close the year 2015 in style, the band ANGUERE launches its most
new album titled CHOQUE, which contains 12 tracks of pure Hard CoreBrutal,
earning the ears of many producers and users of the national underground scene and
also international such as Portugal, Italy and the USA.

In 2016, ANGUERE releases its second official super-produced video. The video was
produced by independent artist Otavio Silva, who has reference to music Estado
of SHOCK that is in the recorded work of 2015 SHOCK. The video won

ANGUERE is a very active band, 2017 was a very good year for the band. To the

In November 2017 the band takes on a tour of Sudamerica with full force,
Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia spent 30 days doing their first international tour that I take
name "NOIA Tur Suldamericana" a great experience and strength for
band.
In 2019, in March, the official video clip of the track CAHCINA was released, which is
a preview of the next work already scheduled for 2020 and made official by the channel

In July 2019 drummer Adriano R. Prado leaves the band, new auditions
drummer until September 2019, Pedro Amaro Giachetti is announced as new
member of the band ANGUERE.

Spiritual Hate - Hate Shall Prevail

Band formed in 2007 with the intention of making chaotic and blasphemous harsh death/black metal.

He recorded his first material in 2012 a split album titled "Agony in The profundis Abyss"

In 2017, he released his first album "Diabolical Dominium" a record that took the band to other levels of the underground, with the official video clip of the song Awaiting Fucking Jesus,

It remained until 2020 with the dissemination of this material.

In January of the same year, the band released a single Hate shall preavail.

In the same year, the band had line-up changes with the departure of one of the founders Magnus Hellhound occupied the role of guitarist and vocalist.

In 2021 Blackmortem took over voice and guitar from another founding member, continuing a cycle that the band had already established.

In April of the same year, the band enters the studio to record their second official studio album.
