Today’s review is of American Deathgrind band Organ Trail’s new album.
This release consists of 14 fast-paced assaults of relentless gore at its finest. With a really classic sound that may remind of Carcass with visible additions of American elements such as extra breakdowns or many dissonances, no track exceeds the sold-out length of 3 minutes.
Instead, here you’ll only find chaotic and rotten music for the most depraved cavemen out there. The listener shouldn’t expect nothing new on this album, only a blunt display of Extreme Metal brought to its limit once again for everyone’s pleasure. If you want something fast, straightforward, aggressive and putrid, look no further.
I recommend this album to fans of Deathgrind. My rating is of 8,5/10.

Today’s review is of Australian Progressive Metal band Taliesin’s debut album.
This release offers a display of compositional brilliance which may not only be enjoyed by progheads but appreciated too by other Metal fans who feel like listening to something more atmospheric. Through a pleasing and catchy vocal performance together with some memorable riffs, some songs may stick for a while in the listener’s subconscious.
Nonetheless, it’s Progressive nature may still be somewhat dizzying (though certainly not as much as other bands’ albums) to some people. Some tracks also take an even more laid back approach that resembles more the Rock direction of Progressive music. Overall, this is a solid full-length with some good songs and lots of interesting subtleties worth checking out a few more times by those interested. My personal highlights are “Awakened By Darkness” and “Faceless Women”.
I recommend this album to fans of Progressive Rock and Metal. My rating is of 8,5/10.
