The Ghost of Fu Kang Walker is a 5-piece hard rock/vintage metal band from Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
Described in a Facebook comment as "The Middle Earth of Lehigh Valley stoner metal," The Ghost of Fu Kang Walker stands out in a Pennsylvania music scene typically dominated by Top-40 cover bands. With vocals inspired by the vintage metal stylings of Thin Lizzy, Dio, and Iron Maiden, the band infuses 70's/80's-era nostalgia with contemporary songwriting, creative hooks, and ultra fuzzy bass riffs.
The band released their first single, Where Wolves and Wiccans Roam, on Halloween of 2021. "I love everything about this track, it’s mysterious, kick-ass, elegant, and unique all in one! You’ve got those mastery old school vocals mixed with that classic Prog Metal production and it all fits in so perfectly that you really can’t ask for anything more!" - Asphyxium Fanzine
Frontman John Pospischil (JP) initially played drums for the band alongside guitarists Josh Pretko and Jason Douglas, and bass player Sean Cameron. The 4-piece band recorded their initial tracks with John recording both drums and vocals. It was immediately apparent that the band wanted to recreate this sound in a live setting. The band called on local music veteran Tony Lipovsky to try out as the band's drummer and after two rehearsals they made it official. John then took on the role of vocals and keyboard.
Following the completion of their lineup, Chumpire Records worked with the band to release a 5-song self-titled split LP/CD with Western PA's Neighbor Dan. Within months, the band inked a deal with Wormholedeath Records to release the self-titled EP on a larger scale, with global distribution.
Collectively, the members of GFKW have played in an extensive roster of past bands, including Dragon Green, The Sinking Earth, Stillwater, I Want To Kill You, Blackout Driver, Sarin, Sound of Reverse, and more. Their history of friendship, gigs, and previous collaborations dates back to the late '80s, with previous bands having opened for the likes of Clutch, Gwar, Weedeater, and more.

Astral Experience (Conocidos originalmente como Astral) es una banda metal progresivo formada en 2015 que combina la parte más emotiva y majestuosa del power metal con la excelencia y la técnica del metal progresivo.

Sus pasajes son dinámicos y complejos a la par de memorables gracias a sus líneas melódicas, creando así una marca personal muy distintiva. Con su álbum inflexión, la banda dió unos pasos muy firmes dentro de la escena del metal estatal.

Además de "Inflexión", Astral lanzó "Friends of Astral", con tres de sus canciones interpretadas por vocalistas de renombre en la escena española como son Ángel Belinchón (Dry River), Isra Ramos (Avalanch, Grace), Nacho Ruiz (Runa Llena) y Lazy Lane (Jolly Joker), Ilevándose toda la atención de los medios españoles y en Latinoamérica.

Tras compartir escenarios con bandas como Dunedain o Morphium, la banda está lista para conquistar la escena con su próximo trabajo que saldrá a la luz en 2022!

RELEASE: NOVEMBER 24th

November 24th the Norwegian rock-legends Ricochets release their new single «Shooting Star».
This is the first taste from the band’s first album release in seventeen years, that will drop early 2023.

In 2019 Ricochets finally came back to play and captured crowds at festivals all over Norway. Their live shows have gotten magnificent reviews in the press and massive love from the crowds – that have become both older and younger since last time!

The experience of being back on stage awoke the creative powers of the band, that ended up writing their fourth full-length album which will be their first since 2005.

The single Shooting Star is the first taste of what’s to come on the upcoming album. A heavy, drifting, and energetic banger of a rock track, that really carries the message that something big is on the way from a band in its prime.

ABOUT RICOCHETS
Ricochets started their career back in 1998, and quickly became a force to be reckoned with in the Norwegian rock scene. Their debut album Slo-Mo Suicide landed them a nomination to the Norwegian Grammy Awards, as newcomer of the year, and their next album was also nominated the the Norwegian Grammys, in the rock album of the year category.

In 2009 the band split up, and it wasn't before 2019 the band announced that they were coming back. Ricochets return to festival stages have thrilled the crowds at festivals as Øya, Bukta, Pstereo, Månefestivalen and Tons of Rock since then, and they are now finally announcing that a new album is set to release in 2023.

DEATHFIEND: "BEYOND LIFE" IS OFFICIALLY OUT!

"Beyond Life", Deathfiend's debut album is already out and in stock! Coming from Birmingham, UK Deathfiend delivers a straightforward old school Death Metal and Punk blend, heavily influenced by the early sounds of Doom and Black Metal. Just picture Hellhammer, Celtic Frost and Motörhead jamming out with Asphyx, Benediction and Unleashed!

The band features John Pickering (founding member of Doom, Sore Throat, Cain and Police Bastard) on both vocals and guitar, Rick Farn on bass and drummer Andrea Pisu. Also featuring special guest appearance by Karl Willetts (Bolt Thrower, Memoriam) on the track "Myngath (The Numinous Way)".

Alejandría anuncia su próxima cita con Madrid después de su último y exitoso concierto con un Sold Out. Los dos grupos ya se unieron en el pasado Festival Grandes del Rock en Burgos y Úbeda Rock en Jaén donde el éxito de las dos formaciones aún se recuerda.
Stingers llegan a Madrid de nuevo como el más reconocido homenaje a la banda alemana Scorpions, habiendo realizado giras con los miembros originales de la formación y siendo invitados a tocar con ellos en diferentes países.

Malus Dextra hails from St. Louis, MO. where guitarist Justin Ruesch (former D-Railed/Brutal Harmony) resides, formed in 2017 after recruiting vocalist Wayne Allison (former A Strand of Fate/Victims of Life) with the intent to bring the world music that was not limited to boundaries of genre and subgenres. Although the core of the band is metal the music speaks to the masses for fans ranging from Killswitch Engage to Slayer to I Prevail, the two entered Encapsulated Studios to record the debut “Self-Titled” album, released Oct 31, 2017, and was supported with mid-west and upper east coast touring in 2018. The band's second full-length album titled “The Gate” was released Oct 31, 2020, supported by mid-west touring, followed by dual releases “Bangin Bionic Beats” a 6 song EP featuring tracks from both the “Self Titled” and “The Gate” remixed and reimagined by John McLucas from McLucas Studios (CA), and “A Somber Moment” a 6 song softer acoustic side from the artist recorded at Encapsulated Studios with producer/engineer Gabe Usery, both Eps released on Oct 31, 2021. Shortly before the recording of “A Somber Moment” the band welcomed two new members, Bassist Alex Smick (former Warheadd) and Guitarist Justin Keane (Blackdeth). 2022 Malus Dextra have once again stepped into Encapsulated Studios to record tracks for their 3rd full-length album titled “III” making this their 5th studio album released. The album is slated to be a multipart release with “Part 1” released in late 2022. “Tomorrow” the first single from the album released March 25th, 2022 on all streaming platforms.
