Once Upon A Dream

Once Upon A dream is a five-piece metalcore band from Greece.
Their debut EP called "Cruciamentum" has just released via Alcyone Records.
The five-track EP was recorded in 2019  at Red House studios with Stelios Koslidis as the producer, while the artwork is Giannis Nakos’ work.

"Cruciamentum" is consisted of five metalcore/hardcore influenced tunes with a unique sound. You will definitely hear influences from bands like Parkway Drive, Bullet For My Valentine, Asking Alexandra, A Day to Remember, and from Djent acts like Periphery. All these are wedded with a unique way that you will hear the band’s own identity into the aggressive riffs and the vocal lines, which are influenced by White Chapel and Suicide Silence.

Melodic lines under the groovy parts, with clean vocals taking the baton from the growls at some points, to add more melody to the choruses. Energy and aggression are what you will feel when you hear the music.

As for the lyrics, they are occupied with unpleasant experiences of their life, such as grief, rejection, abandonment, and more. But, as they point out, the subject can change direction from album to album.

"Cruciamentum" tracklist:

  1. Seeker
  2. Behind the Shadows
  3. Hollow Eyes
  4. Deathwish
  5. My Last Words
