Eamonn McCormack - Storyteller (Review by David Kiss)

When you hear Dublin or Ireland, the first thing that comes to mind is Thin Lizzy because of my streak and U2, for being the most international group that that country has given.
Here appears Eamonn McCormack's international blues-rock singer-songwriter and guitarist "Storyteller", the title of his album to eleven original songs, with his band recorded the songs live in the studio to capture the essence as the old Muddy Waters albums in the study of Chess records and having good results gave creating the future foundations of Rock n´Roll!
Producer of this album Arne Wiegand together with Eamonn laid the foundations to create the sound of the album in the same direction, a fresh and direct sound that penetrates your emotional system, song by song tells stories lived in his own person.
Although his first song is a ballad called "the Great Famine", his instrumental airs mix with that feeling live, leading you to a good emotional attitude, followed by more electric "Gypsy Women" or the heartbreaking "Held Me understand".
A boy who at 12 years old had already decided that he would dedicate his life to being a musician who influences on his album "Storyteller" who toured, recording with the greatest of his idols, from Rory Gallagher to ZZtop, Walter Trout .. ..
What can you expect? Well composed music, blues rock with a special sound, that will remind you of Dylan, the previously mentioned Texas sound of ZZtop, Steve Earle or even memories of Phil Lynott and whether or not Irish bands have influenced half the world!
