Braincell is a five-piece groove/thrash metal outfit based in Lynchburg, Virginia. With seasoned members coming from a variety of backgrounds, Braincell combines elements of death metal, punk, hardcore, progressive, and traditional heavy metal to offer a unique and powerful blend of full force headbanging madness. The result is a sound of combined aggression and melody, delivered with an unstoppable high energy live show.

In various concerts, Braincell has opened for bands such as: Trivium, Lamb of god, All that Remains, drowning pool, Mushroomhead, Upon a burning body, Powerman 5000 and Saliva.
