American Melodic Black/Death Metal band Finsternis released their debut EP «The Old Tongue». The release was recorded and mixed by Jose Del Rio at "River Sound Studio", and mastered by Alan Douches at "West West Side Music".
Finsternis was formed in 2018 at Mobile, Alabama by Duel Guess (Guitars), Ben Watson (Guitars), Jacob Hines (Drums), and Jamie Jones (Vocals). Taking influences from classic black and roll like Venom, Modern U.S. black metal acts like Goatwhore, Bastard Sapling and Cloak while maintaining a healthy affinity for the Swedish melodic black metal popularized by Dissection, Finsternis has a black metal sound ready made for the modern era..
