KRIEGSGOTT – H8 4ALL ( REVIEW BY VARG THE MIGHTY )

Today’s review is of Polish Black Metal band Kriegsgott’s upcoming EP, out on January 26th.

Consisting of 2 songs and a Martial Industrial intro that seems like a recurring theme in the band’s releases that surely adds mystery to the release, it looks like the songs are pretty different from when the band first started. Since the days of “Legion Ov Revenge”, the style of Kriegsgott has evolved, and now it sounds much more unique and elaborate. With a similar intensity and still some reminders of Graveland’s Black Metal albums influence, this new EP tends towards a more modern sonority, similar to numerous new Polish bands, but with a veteran ability added to perfect this new concept.

One would even consider this as their best release so far, definitely unique in its darkness and intensity. This forms a perfect mix of classic and newer Black Metal concepts that has been synthesized into a couple of great tracks. Perhaps the only thing wrong about it is the EP’s excessively short length. It would be very interesting to be able to listen to a new full album with the band’s new identity.

I recommend this to fans of Polish Black Metal and Black Death Metal. My rating is of 9/10.
