ABOUT THE PRETTY RECKLESS:
The Pretty Reckless formed in New York City during 2008, and the musicians and late producer Kato Khandwala initially made waves with their 2010 debut Light Me Up. After countless gigs, the band returned with Going To Hell in 2014. Not only did the record crash the Top 5 of the Billboard Top 200, but it also ignited three #1 hits — the Platinum-certified "Heaven Knows" (the biggest rock song of 2014), "Fucked Up World," and "Follow Me Down" — a feat that had not been accomplished by a female-fronted group since The Pretenders in 1984. Meanwhile, their third offering, Who You Selling For , saw them return to #1 on the Mainstream Rock Songs Chart with "Take Me Down," which cemented them as "the first band to send its first four singles to #1 on the chart," according to Billboard. Praise followed from Vogue, Nylon, and more as the quartet lit up television shows such as Letterman and Conan. With over half-a-billion streams, they headlined countless sold out shows and toured with Guns N' Roses, Soundgarden, and -many other heavy hitters. The title track of their fourth album Death By Rock And Roll hit No. 1 on the rock charts and stayed there for multiple weeks. It marked the fifth No. 1 single of the band's career. The Pretty Reckless are also the first female-fronted band to have back-to-back No. 1 singles at the active rock format. They are also the first female-fronted act to have five No. 1 singles on the Billboard charts

WITHERFALL – RELEASE VIDEO CLIP FOR THE EMOTIONAL "THE RIVER"

Witherfall

See and hear a very different side of WITHERFALL by checking out the video clip for the highly emotional “The River”. After their homages to throwback horror with “As I Lie Awake” and “The Other Side Of Fear” the brand new video for “The River” finally shows a full band performance. The video was directed by Bradford Lloyd Cooper for Combobulated Arts Incorporated and can be viewed HERE

The video and song have a very special and personal meaning: “’The River’ is a song about singer Joseph Michael’s deceased father. It refers to the family fishing spot up near Thousand Islands by the Canadian border of New York State. During the recording tears were shed… Hopefully this song honors JM’s father appropriately. RIP Kenneth Martin Furney.”

“The River” is the 5th single taken from “Curse Of Autumn”, the upcoming album from WITHERFALL that is scheduled for a worldwide release on March 5th, 2021 with the US vinyl being available April 2nd, 2021.

The band comments their signing to Century Media Records as follows:

Well, what can we say...? We are tremendously excited to be able to carry on despite the circumstances and a new album and a new label are a delicious start to this new stage of the adventure. This is a reference label, which has given support to many bands that we have grown up with and we can't wait to see our name  in the midst of  so many others. We hope that the general situation improves and that we can return as soon as possible to the road and to the heat of the concerts and we want to take this opportunity to thank all the people who in one way or another have accompanied us throughout this time.
Fire!

Paco Fernandez, Label Manager Spain & Portugal:

"I met BALA in Colombia back in 2018 and they immediately caught my attention. I followed them for months and it didn't take long before I realized that they had something really unique  . The blend of influences, the energy of their live performances and the relentless raw attitude gets leaked in their timeless music. And now that they landed at Century Media, things couldn't long any better. I'm absolutely sure that we are just about to see the launch of an amazing travel."

BALA’s influences range from the different faces of grunge to the big names of punk or stoner rock. This unique blend of musical landscapes and pan-generational inspirations helped shaping the bands outstanding heavy sound and pays tribute to legends like Nirvana, Melvins, Fu Manchu and L7.

ENFORCED – RELEASE VISUALIZER VIDEO FOR "CURTAIN FIRE", TAKEN FROM KILL GRID"

Enforced

Virginia-based crossover maniacs ENFORCED open their Century Media account with their blistering new album, “Kill Grid”. Informed by an incredible cross-section of extremes—from thrash and punk to death metal and hardcore—the emergent outfit drop a nine-song cluster-bomb of thrashing death on apathetic times. After already releasing “Hemorrhage” and “Malignance” the band is presenting a visualizer video for another banger, “Curtain Fire”:  https://youtu.be/iZuAPqj90cc

“Also known as ‘the creeping barrage,’ curtain fire is an artillery tactic used in tandem with advancing ground troops”, singer Knox Colby explains.  “It’s meant to soften up defenses or wipe them out completely. The lyrical narrative is on the defending end of curtain fire; ruminations on the death of soldiers, their grieving families, and how they’ll eventually be forgotten through time (a folded flag in a garage). The last few lines flip to the perspective of the attacker. With a very apathetic and unsympathetic attitude towards all the damage created, paving a parking lot over the conflict.” Guitarist Will Wagstaff on the music:  “This song came together from the supernova of many other riffs/versions of the song. It was originally an up-tempo fast metal beat type of song. We kind of scraped that when we came up with the intro and realized it could be a really catchy song. Knox’s lyrics work perfectly with this song and make it extremely catchy along with the head bashing and solos.”

“Kill Grid” came together over a two-year period while ENFORCED were marauding halls and dive bars across the East Coast and Canada. Indeed, inspiration came from different directions, but playing live with bands like Sacred Reich, Red Death, Iron Reagan, All Out War, and Integrity shaped what was to come out of the Richmonders. While it was the previous output that attracted the attention of Century Media, it’s “Kill Grid”, that’s going to put ENFORCED on top-lists of circle pit lunatics around the globe. To track their sophomore full-length, ENFORCED enlisted long-time friend and studio maven Bob Quirk (Iron Reagan) to engineer, as well as Philadelphia-based studio whiz Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Cavalera Conspiracy, Pissed Jeans, Eternal Champion, Ghostemane, Code Orange) to mix and master.
