In the last few years, the enigmatic Italian one-man band Sacrilegious Crown has established themselves as one of the most prominent acts in the raw black metal scene, together with acts like Sanguine Relic, Lampir and Obskuritatem, and releasing demos and albums with "cult" underground black metal labels such as Defiled Light, Perverse Homage and Black Gangrene.
Xenoglossy Productions is proud to release their most recent effort, an EP titled Plenilunium Cult. Three tracks of haunting and nightmarish black metal, with spectral leads and tortured vocals surfacing from another dimension. The last track, "Culto IV: Homily" is a ghastly, yet beautiful dark ambient track played on a real distorted church organ, a fitting closing to what sounds like a journey within the Neuschwanstein Castle (depicted on the front artwork) on a fullmoon night, with no hope of escaping.
Plenilunium Cult is going to be released on March 5th in digital format and limited, undisclosed quantity cassette tape.
