Madrid band of Groove metal (and / or current metal in general). It's a band that
is about to turn 10 years of existence as such, which is said soon, and which is
giving to speak with his powerful direct and his solidity in study.
Starting out as big fans of METALLICA, becoming in fact a
San Francisco tribute band in the early days, there is more cloth to cut from the
that some would think of a band like SOUTHGATE. Mix with tino and
cheek the best metal and crossover of the 90s, with the force of thrash and heavy metal
from the late 80s, along with a much more modern current metal point. In this
musical tessitura the group sounds excellent. Songs, that in the end this is always about
of having and making good songs, and SOUTHGATE is more than good!
After weeks of confinement, the group resurfaces strongly, already presenting us with the
sound advance of what will be his new album at the end of the summer, and showing some
Willingness, quality, attitude and know-how that not all groups have. From the family
Lady Stone (and with her Management and Records divisions involved) we give you a
fantastic welcome, wishing you all the best in this new stage together and waiting
everyone to hear his new material very soon, which is sure to be explosive!
On Friday, June 26, it premiered through the main digital platforms (a
via Lady Stone Records) a new single from SOUTHGATE: “Wheel of Dharma!”.
In fact we can already listen to the same Spotify. Also this same day
The official video-lyric of the song has been released, which we can already see on YouTube. What
extra information, the single was recorded at BulletProof Studios (Alcorcón, Madrid) by
Daniel Patiño in February 2020.
The next single, "Call of the wild" was released at the end of July and, already
October and a few days before the official release of the new full EP, the
latest preview / single from it, “Revelations”, with its corresponding video clip
Directed by Sergio Candón. The new EP is scheduled for October 16.
They will catch you like a punch in the face ... First the revolution was made
METALLICA, then PANTHER came, and now stay tuned because the road

During all these years we have performed in many stages of the capital,
gaining part of the experience that allows us to move forward. From SOUTHGATE

We are currently working on various projects such as video clips
and a new EP ... that we will be presenting as pills in the coming weeks,
that will lead to the edition of the new work, scheduled for October 2020 (and
to be released under the auspices of Lady Stone Records).
