“Nothing Right Nothing Left” is the
debut album from Stranded Ways, a
Finnish heavy metal band.
Recorded at studio Näädänpesä in
Ylöjärvi, the
album is produced and recorded by Ville-Eemeli Puurtinen
and mixed and
mastered by Ismo Vuori.
Stranded Ways was formed in late 2018 in
Joensuu, Finland and played
their first show in October 2019.
Simultaneously, a self-titled EP was
released (also featuring the Puurtinen - Vuori
duo). In the spring of 2020,
the band put out Live @ Riveria, recorded live
as a collaboration project
with the media students of Riveria - vocational
school.
Stranded Ways plays a style of traditional heavy
metal/hard rock with a
modern sound. The songs vary from
straightforward to progressive
without disregarding the importance of melodies.
