HEAVY WATER - RED BRICK CITY ( BIFF BYFORD AND SON SEB BYFFORD) BY JAVIER BARBA VALLEJO

On the official Facebook page "Heavy Water", which is the new project of Biff Byford & Seb Byford father and son, whose idea was born from the collaborations of both broadcast in streaming from their home studio during the Covid-19 confinement more Lasted .
Yesterday the single Red Brick City was released, which precedes the release of an LP of the same name for this coming summer.

In the song Seb sings, plays guitar and backing vocals, Biff takes over bass, backing vocals and sings. Both with very rock vocal registers, the very Sabbath or Zeppeliano riff theme ... I find it to be slow, raw, machacon, enveloping Metal ... very very from the origins of the entire Heavy roll, mixed and mastered by Jacky Lehmann who He will already collaborate on Sacrifice (2013) by Saxon and with Scorpions, Holy Moses, Lacrimosa, etc ...

Regarding the very simple video clip, in black and white, with simple effects, they have not squeezed the jar much to do it, what I disliked a bit is a couple of quick shots in which Seb wears a surgical mask while playing alone in the studio and I already feel very tired with this subject of masks to see it in video clips.

Therefore it is not a song in the Alternative Rock style of Seb Byford's Naked Six or Biff's Saxon, which is appreciated because in projects like this what you want is to listen to the artist in other different aspects and they too it allows them to do things they like and expand musically without the pressure of their already established groups.

For my part, yesterday I got hold of my great friend and Internet tracker Metal Jordi Herraiz and he caught me quickly in Pre Order the vinyl within the limited edition of red vinyl to the first 30th copies in the world .... take already that Jordi !!!!!
Because if it is up to me to buy it fast with what a jerk I am on the internet, I have it clear, on the page you will see it for sale the cd goes for € 10 and the vinyl for € 25 is in cassette format and t-shirts, but count already forever that everything that comes from Uk expenses are more due to Brexit.
