Answer, the Metal / Hardcore / Rap band from Barcelona, has reunited after 7 years and, after presenting us with two video clips of their first two singles, on June 6, 2021 they will launch their new album in digital format that will be called "Lagrimas Rotas".
Answer was born in 1997 and had a 17-year career, in which he published 4 albums, La Danza de la Calle (1998), Reprenem Respostes (2006), 1997-2007 (2007) and Ni Oblit ni Perdó (2008), more the album De la Rebel·lia (2003) published during experiment nn33. Answer has shared the stage with artists of the stature of Sôber, Def Con Dos, Berri Txarrak, Fermín Muguruza, Undrop, Maniática or Hamlet and in their songs we find collaborations of artists such as Álex Vendrell (Inadaptats), Pau Llonch (At Versaris) or Juanra (Kop). In these 17 years, Answer carried out many performances throughout the peninsula participating in festivals such as Ajo Rock and, on several occasions, it has visited Italy during its tours, participating in festivals in Sardinia, such as Musica per (R) esitire, together with the mythical Neapolitan band 99 Posse. Answer released their last single “Don’t Stop Show” in 2010, a song that was part of the OST of the film “Regression” (Joan Frank Charansonet, 2010) and, finally, the band ceased its activity in 2014.
Now in 2021, Answer gathers all the experience of its previous trajectory to return to the activity with new components, new ideas and fresh air and present a new album that is more mature, more solid and more modern that shows that Answer wants to evolve. In the careful production of the 2 singles that they have already released, “Silenciados” and “Lágrimas Rotas” there is clear evidence of this new commitment and the solidity of a new renewed project. In addition, the recording and publication of an online concert before the release of his new album shows us once again that new energy that has already started to take off.
Answer is back to stay, the 19-year-old boys who listened to Rage against the machine and stood out with their appearance in the underground scene of the 90s, now they want to be the ones who break scenes in each of their performances. What's more, Answer have already opened a contract and for this summer they have already confirmed a small tour of 3 performances in Sardinia to present their new album on the Italian island. It does not seem that a pandemic can stop them and as they tell us in their first single "Silenced": They will not shut us up!
