Jeffey Philip LaBar ( Cinderella )R.I.P By Javier Barba Vallejo.

This morning I learned of the death of Jeffey Philip LaBar, better known as Jeff LaBar, through the statement issued yesterday by his son Sebastián, the causes of his death at 58 are still unknown and I at least did not know what He was afflicted with any illness, although his addiction to alcohol, so we will have to wait for some news about it in the next few days.

Jeff LaBar was guitar in the Philadelphia band, Cinderella one of my favorite bands of all time despite having only four official albums, all studio albums Night Songs (1986), Long Cold Winter (1988), Heartbreak Station (1990 ), Still Climbing (1994). He participated in all of them as did all his fellow Cinderella Tom Keifer, Eric Brithimgam and Fred Coury, as well as all were present on their successful reunion tours, but he was not the original guitar of the band. LaBar entered replacing one of its original members, which was Michael Kelly Smith who after founding Cinderella left the group to found another piece of band in the emerging and prolific American Glam Hard Rock scene of the 80s such as Britny Fox.

Jeff LaBar apart from Cinderella, was part of Naked Beggars band with his partner in Cinderella the Bassist Eric Brithimgam and his wife Inga, in 2014 he released his only solo album One For The Road where he himself played all the instruments including the voice. , reflecting his great musical talent although very short in duration, he could have included another song since no musician cried for his hours of recording ..., he also currently held the reins of his own internet radio program "Late Night With The LaBar's ", until yesterday that his Ex found him dead in his apartment.
A pitiful loss for the world of Rock and another of the greats that is leaving us, he and Cinderella deserved to be in a higher status in the history of Rock, but this world has never treated all of its prodigal children. It is precisely, although I do have to say that I have seen a lot of movement and reminders towards him on social networks by the Rockera press and its fans.
For my part, this is my humble tribute as a fan.

JEFF LaBAR  FOREVER....
CINDERELLA FOREVER  AND EVER  !!!!!
