Today’s review is of Swedish Melodic Hard Rock band M.ill.ion’s comeback album, out on September 10th.
Featuring 3 new songs, 2 re-recordings, remixes, remasters and rare recordings, this new album is a must for fans of the band. Delivering once again their powerful 80s rock & roll greatness, the band’s new songs are perfectly camouflaged between their classic material, leaving a newcomer confused as to what was recorded in the good ol’ days and what’s new.
Combining melodic and catchy riffs with an almost Glam Rock swing of the late 80s and clear reminders of Bon Jovi, Dokken or Kiss, this band may very well be a perfect incarnation of the 80s’ lovestruck swagger. This full-length displays a very bright future for their return, with the exact same energy as when they started.
I recommend this album to fans of Hard Rock, Melodic Hard Rock, AOR and Glam Rock. My rating is of 9/10.
