WHITE CITY GRAVES – ONE OF US (Review by Varg The Mighty )

Today’s review is of American Horror Punk band White City Graves’ album “One Of Us”.

Consisting of Misfits-like Horror Punk, the strength of Punk Metal, a bit of macabre sonority in the likes of Rob Zombie, plenty of d-beat and tons of Rock n’ Roll, this album includes 10 short and straightforward tracks of madness.

Fans of the spookier yet fun side of Punk will enjoy this one, as will fans of hard-hitting Metal with elements of Punk. Although there is surely no filler, some songs stand out in front of the others, such as “Bump In The Night” or “Brooks Was Here”. Mixing the aggressive side of Punk with calmer bits to create the horror movie-like atmosphere, this album is great to check out as October approaches.

I recommend this album to fans of Horror Punk and Punk Metal. My rating is of 9/10.
