Ayer Sábado 2/4 asistí al concierto que ofreció Ktulu en la sala Boveda de Barcelona .
Un fin de semana con amplia oferta de conciertos en el que el Viernes aún pude ver a los Agrotech mejicanos Hocico . Pero el Sábado me tocó seleccionar , aunque la elección estaba clara por mí parte. Me perdí otros tres buenos conciertos como el de Ana Curra presentando el 40° Aniversario de "El Acto" de Paralisis Permanente , Carlos Segarra (Los Rebeldes) presentando su album "Segarra Inn Blues" en el magnifico recinto del Biker Bar de Calafell "La Cantera" en la fiesta del dia de los Hell's Angels y al de los Gothics Diary Of Dreams.
El concierto de Ktulu venía de ser aplazado por tema de restricciones Covid-19 del día 15 de Enero , hasta ahora en que "empieza" a normalizarse la situación en directos de salas .
Como siempre digo en mí humilde opinión personal Saxon , Testament y Ktulu son Ley , así que esto no será una crónica de su accidentado y brutal concierto de anoche sino una gran historia que viví , porque como dice mí mentor Marc Empire de Empire Magazine al que nunca olvido en agradecerle darme la oportunidad en mi primera publicación en prensa , él dice ser más que periodista " Un contador de historias" y he de decir que me encanta este termino porque realmente es lo que ocurre cuando se narra la vivencia de un concierto desde un punto de vista personal y pasional y no con la frialdad del análisis musical y escénico exclusivamente , así que ahí va ....
Dias antes había hablado con Miguel Suesta bateria original de Ktulu , ahora habitual espectador y ocasionalmente colaborador en los directos de Ktulu como cantante en la psicótica canción "Solo" y con interesante proyecto en solitario junto a su pareja Eva Arias , para ver si acudiría al concierto y llevar mí vinilo del "Involucion" (1991) en mí particular dificil proyecto de que me lo firmen los cinco Ktulu originales Ktulu dado que el vinilo fué una edición de 1000 copias y los componentes estan escampados a los cuatro vientos y me dijo que sí que iría y allí nos veríamos. Así que ya aseguraba dos autógrafos más , el del cantante Willy Espejo y Miguel pero a veces cuando menos lo esperas los astros se alinean....
Y va Miguel y me dice "Pablo y David "Mons" vendran tambien !!!!! "
Comorrrl ????......el bajista y guitarra originales de Ktulu , fundadores más tarde de la mítica banda Freak XXI y actualmente retirados del mundo musical de primera línea , porque "Mons" actualmente es luthier profesional .
Estuvieron muchos años desaparecidos hasta reencontrarse para el concierto reunion del 30 ° Aniversario 21/1/17 y el estreno del documental de Nico Agerre y Jorge Cabrera "Regreso al Sotano" (2021), pero tras estas apariciones son muy difíciles de localizar .
Precisamente en el estreno del documental "Regreso Al Sotano" en el festival de cine In-Edit de Barcelona conseguí los autografos en el vinilo del "Involucion" de Jorge Cabrera guitarra original de Ktulu y productor del documental , ahora viviendo en Madrid con una ascendente carrera de actor de cine recientemente galardonado con el Blogos de oro al "Mejor Actor De Reparto" en la película "Lucas" del director Alex Montoya y tambien el de su hermano Óscar Oscar Sanz Cabrera que fué el creador de los dibujos del insert del "Involucion" y del antiguo logo de Ktulu que aparece en los discos "Involucion"(1991) y "Orden Genetico" (1994) de antes de su gran etapa de Metal Industrial.
Ante la incertidumbre de los aplazamientos y anulaciones de conciertos compre la entrada fisica en taquilla y además gran detallazo de Green Comet Music Agency y Six Force Management de hacer las entradas de talonario con foto en color como las buenas de toda la vida y no de impresora.
Nada más entrar en el hall de Bovéda me encontré con el cantante de Ktulu Willy y Joan Antoni de Win 2 Win Music empresa de Comunicacion , Eventos y Promos digitales y colaborador con Siz Force Management , ahí ya un gratamente sorprendido Willy al verme con una camiseta del "Makinal" (2012) flipó más aún cuando saqué la copia del "Involucion" que me dedicó "Para Javi Saxon" y fotos de rigor de los tres .... y ya entré a la sala con un casi Sold out muy cerca de las 300 personas.
Les acompañaban como artistas invitados los barceloneses Picaya presentando su primer disco "Brutalizandolo Todo" , grupo de sonido muy influenciado por unos Soziedad Alkoholika y Ktulu pero sin samplers , para mí gusto muy buenos y perfectos para esa noche y también la banda madrileña Voids Legion que hacen un Death Metal Técnico , estos presentaban tambien su primer disco "Awakening The Collapse".
Me reencontré con mis amigos Miguelin y "Vidita" y juntos vimos a todas las bandas desde un sitio más elevado y así ahí controlaba las caras del público , para localizar a los antiguos componentes cuando llegasen .
Ktulu Salió al escenario con la canción "Sadismo" y su brutalidad habitual desde el primer segundo pero con problemas de sonido en los que Willy decía oirse solo por el "retorno" de la sala y así las primeras canciones "Kontra Adiccion" , "Pura Vida" y "El Latido Del Miedo" ya no estuve mucho por ellas porque localicé a Miguel Suesta y su pareja y compañera del
proyecto K´jon & Dance , Eva Arias quienes charlamos un rato amigablemente , nos hicimos unas fotos y Miguel me firmo el disco y retorne a mi posición elevada .
Solventados los problemas de voz continuaron con "Biocontaminacion" , "Mensaje Subliminal" , "Legitima Defensa" , pero con problemas en las guitarras , ahí ya vi entrar juntos a Pablo y "Mons" acompañados por Juan Olivera Osuna "El Presi/Administrador" del club de fans "Ktulu Reborn" y ahí flipe yo muchisimo cuando fui a pedir el autógrafo a Pablo y al girarme y verme me reconoció y me trató como a un amigo de toda la vida con un fuerte abrazo al igual que "Mons" para mí ese momento que viví ayer juntos entre Miguel , Eva , Pablo "Mons" y Juan fué tan entrañable como emotivo , Pablo y yo habíamos hablado por Messenger y me seguía desde la cronica de la presentación del documental , pero la verdad no esperaba que me reconocieran ninguno de ellos y charlamos , reímos , nos hicimos fotos y me firmaron el puto Involucion todos los originales por las dos caras !!!
En negro la portada y en dorado la foto de la contraportada ..... pedazo de joya que me he currado ahí !!!!!!!! Ja ja ja .
La olla del público era un hervidero descontrolado a cada cancion y con "El Latido Del Miedo" cayó el bajo y peto todo su equipo dos veces en lo que paró el concierto un largo tiempo y se hablaba ya de pararlo definitivamente , pero pudieron volver a reanudar , lejos de enfriarse el público se tornaba más loco de cojones ya con algunos moshers sobre el escenario , claro que Ktulu sabían como manejar la situación para eso son Putos Amos !!!!! Pese a verseles desorientados entre ellos entre canción y cancion o algún sampler escapado , cuando enganchaban cada canción sonaban tan compactos y brutales que tornaban al público de celda de castigo de psiquiatrico con "Apocalipsis 25 D" y "Justicia". Ktulu quisieron tocar alguna más , pero la organizacion ya quería la sala para hacerla discoteca y tuvieron que despedirse obligados pero con muy buen rollo con la gente .
En definitiva fué un GRAN concierto plagado de problemas técnicos , pero ir a ver a Ktulu ya se sabe que aciertas a tiro fijo , por lo demás pues.... viví un sueño de conocer a los originales personalmente y que me lo pasara tan bien con ellos , el reencuentro con mis amigos Miguelin , Maria Jose Vidita , Fermín Soriano Gómez "El Palmero" ja ja ja , Bernat Piqué Parrot , David Camps Aranda del pedazo Bar de Metal Ca La Vera de Badalona , Javi ZM , el gran Toni Sirius del grupo Sirius que tocarán en Boveda el 30 de este mes y un largo etc de conocid@s.... gran family !!!!

Yesterday Saturday 2/4 I attended the concert offered by Ktulu in the Boveda room in Barcelona.
A weekend with a wide range of concerts in which on Friday I could still see the Mexican Agrotech Hocico. But on Saturday I had to select, although the choice was clear on my part. I missed three other good concerts like Ana Curra presenting the 40th Anniversary of Permanent Paralysis's "El Acto", Carlos Segarra (Los Rebeldes) presenting his album "Segarra Inn Blues" in the magnificent venue of the Calafell Biker Bar "La Cantera" at the Hell's Angels day party and the Gothics Diary Of Dreams party.
Ktulu's concert had just been postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions on January 15, until now when the situation in live theaters "begins" to normalize.
As I always say in my personal humble opinion Saxon , Testament and Ktulu are Ley , so this will not be a chronicle of their rough and brutal concert last night but a great story that I lived , because as my mentor Marc Empire from Empire Magazine says to whom I never forget to thank him for giving me the opportunity in my first publication in the press, he claims to be more than a journalist "A storyteller" and I have to say that I love this term because it really is what happens when the experience of a concert is narrated from a personal and passionate point of view and not with the coldness of musical and scenic analysis exclusively, so here it goes....
Days before he had spoken with Miguel Suesta, original drummer of Ktulu, now a regular spectator and occasionally collaborator in Ktulu's live shows as a singer in the psychotic song "Solo" and with an interesting solo project with his partner K´jon & Dance, Eva Arias, to see if he would go to the concert and take my vinyl of "Involution" (1991) in particular difficult project for me to sign the five original Ktulu Ktulu given that the vinyl was an edition of 1000 copies and the components are scattered to the four winds and he told me that Yes, I would go and we would see each other there. So he already secured two more autographs, that of the singer Willy Espejo and Miguel, but sometimes when you least expect it, the stars align....

They were missing for many years until they met again for the 30th Anniversary reunion concert on 1/21/17 and the premiere of the documentary by Nico Agerre and Jorge Cabrera "Regreso al Sotano" (2021), but after these appearances they are very difficult to locate.

Accompanying them as guest artists were the Barcelonans Picaya presenting their first album "Brutalizantelo Todo", a group with a sound very influenced by Soziedad Alkoholika and Ktulu but without samplers, for my taste very good and perfect for that night and also the band from Madrid Voids Legion who they make a Technical Death Metal, they also presented their first album "Awakening The Collapse".
I met up again with my friends Miguelin and "Vidita" and together we saw all the bands from a higher place and thus controlled the faces of the public, to locate the former members when they arrived.
Ktulu He went on stage with the song "Sadismo" and his usual brutality from the first second but with sound problems in which Willy said he could only hear himself because of the "return" of the room and thus the first songs "Kontra Adiccion", "Pura Vida" and "El Latido Del Miedo" I didn't spend much time with them because I located Miguel Suesta and his partner and partner in the
project......... Eva Arias who chatted for a while, we took some photos and Miguel signed the record for me and I returned to my elevated position.
Once the voice problems were solved, they continued with "Biocontamination", "Mensaje Subliminal", "Legitima Defensa", but with problems in the guitars, there I already saw Pablo and "Mons" enter together accompanied by Juan Olivera Osuna "El Presi/Administrador" from the "Ktulu Reborn" fan club and there I freaked out a lot when I went to ask for Pablo's autograph and when he turned around and saw me he recognized me and treated me like a lifelong friend with a big hug just like "Mons" for That moment that I lived together yesterday between Miguel, Eva, Pablo "Mons" and Juan was as endearing as it was emotional. Pablo and I had spoken on Messenger and he had been following me since the chronicle of the presentation of the documentary, but the truth is that I did not expect him to recognized any of them and we chatted, laughed, took pictures and they signed the fucking Involucion all the originals on both sides!!!
The front cover is in black and the back cover photo is in gold ..... piece of jewel that I have worked on there !!!!!!!! LOL .
The public's pot was an uncontrolled hive with each song and with "El Latido Del Miedo" the bass fell and his entire team crashed twice in which the concert stopped for a long time and there was already talk of stopping it definitively, but they were able to return to resume , far from cooling down the public became more crazy than balls already with some moshers on stage , of course Ktulu knew how to handle the situation for that they are Putos Amos !!!!! Despite seeing them disoriented between songs or some escaped sampler, when they hooked each song they sounded so compact and brutal that they turned the public into a psychiatric punishment cell with "Apocalypse 25 D" and "Justicia". Ktulu wanted to play some more, but the organization already wanted the room to make it a disco and they had to say goodbye but with a very good vibe with the people.
In short, it was a GREAT concert plagued by technical problems, but going to see Ktulu you already know that you hit a fixed shot, otherwise well.... I lived a dream of meeting the originals personally and having such a good time with them, the reunion with my friends Miguelin, Maria Jose Vidita, Fermín Soriano Gómez "El Palmero" ha ha ha, Bernat Piqué Parrot, David Camps Aranda from the piece Bar de Metal Ca La Vera from Badalona, Javi ZM, the great Toni Sirius from the group Sirius who will play at Boveda on the 30th of this month and a long list of other acquaintances.... great family!!!!
