For the first time in their Careers, Within Temptation join forces with the 

Metropole Orchestra (led by Jules Buckley) and a classic 20-voice chorus, 

elevating the band's fast, bombastic tracks to an even higher level. Within 

Temptation they did this spectacular show on February 7, 2008 in front of 10,000 

fans, surprising them with appearances by special guests Mina Caputo (Life Of Agony), 

Anneke van Giersbergen (The Gathering) and George Oosthoek (Orphanage) while reviewing 

all the hits of his discography. until 2008, including 'Mother Earth', 'Stand My Ground' 

and 'All I Need ”.

 

‘Black Symphony’ debuted in numerous positions on the top 10 DVD charts worldwide, making

RUSSIAN SYMPHONIC METAL BAND RAISES $11,477 WHILE PLAYING AN ONLINE CONCERT FROM LOCKED-DOWN MOSCOW

On April, 25th IMPERIAL AGE streamed a 180-minute online concert from locked-down Moscow and achieved ground-breaking success with 14,000 people watching on YouTube and 24,000 views on Facebook - which adds up to a virtual stadium show. The band's global audience was streaming the live concert from all 7 continents, including Antarсtica.

Admission was free of charge - anyone could stream the show. IMPERIAL AGE had invested $2,600 of their own money to produce this event and expected to recoup it at best, but the result surpassed all, even the most optimistic expectations: the fans donated a whooping $9,796 and bought music & merch for another $1,681 while watching the show. The total amount the band raised on this event amounted to $11,477.

The broadcast was made with 5 TV cameras and full cinematic and stage lights in Full HD quality (1080p), involved 20 people (all with government-issued QR code passes allowing to work during lockdown) and took 3 hours. IMPERIAL AGE played 21 songs - including 2 new ones from the upcoming album - and in-between the songs answered some of the questions that the fans were posting via the online chat in real time.

"This has just been our most successful show so far. You guys rock. Big bow to all of you! you are our world." - wrote band leader and lead singer Aor after the show on the band's official Facebook page.

NICK MENZA - Watch First Episode Of Late MEGADETH Drummer's Revamped 2020 Menza Mega Video Vault Feat. PANTERA, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS

The first of three episodes of the revamped 2020 "Menza Mega Video Vault" featuring late Megadeth drummer Nick Menza behind the camera filming some very rare unreleased intimate and funny backstage moments with the guys in Megadeth, Pantera, Stone Temple Pilots and their road crews, hosted by Exodus Frontman Steve "Zetro" Souza, can be seen below.
The three part series, Behind The Scenes With Nick Menza, is footage from Menza's personal and private collection VHS tapes that features previously unreleased live concert footage of Pantera and Stone Temple Pilots the drummer captured during 1992 and 1993 when Pantera and Stone Temple Pilots opened for Megadeth on the Countdown To Extinction tour.
The series is being produced by Menza's long time manger Robert Bolger, Wayne Marsala and Brian Huntington of Grey Haven Media.

He currently has a personal project which he is in charge of programming,
guitar, bass and samples, recording and mixing.

Last year I recorded 8 tracks of dark and heavy music with experimental elements
and progressive with which he wants to achieve a personal style that he drinks from all
the sources and reflect my outlook on life.

Cave Metal CHAKA Shares New Video 'Flak' Off “Neanderthal Tales” EP

Primal, thrashy cave metal CHAKA, a side-project from Darkside NYC bassist Mark Sokoll, is sharing with fans the new music video for 'Flak' in support of the EP “Neanderthal Tales”, a primal barrage of prehistoric metal power released this past December.

The video for 'Flak', is the band clad in surplus gear with patriotic face paint.
Sokoll adds:
“An uptempo song about Kamikaze attacks during WW2. I tried to evoke the horror of being attacked by unconventional suicide planes.”

Expecting fans to receive the new offering “Neanderthal Tales” with enthusiasm, Sokoll hopes listeners will enjoy the heaviness of the music and the thought-provoking lyrics. Focused on science topics, such as the theory of evolution and mankind’s place in the universe; Sokoll likes to write about subjects that have not yet been explored. Carrying forward with an abundance of motivation, Sokoll quotes that “fans can expect a lot more productivity”.

A live show from CHAKA includes a heavily dressed stage including a monolith and artificial cairns as the backdrop for a very visceral and primal Heavy Metal experience. 

“Neanderthal Tales” was released in December 2019 and is suitable for fans of Celtic Frost, Venom, and Motorhead.

Chaka is a side-project from Darkside NYC’s bassist, Mark Sokoll. Their sound is in the vein of old Celtic Frost, Venom, Cro-Mags, and Black Sabbath. Mark has been playing the bass guitar since 1986 which is the same year he joined Terminal Confusion (NYHC). After playing bass guitar and singing background vocals for numerous other Punk and Metal bands in the NYC scene, (Hypoxia, Leeway, The Downlow NYHC, F*Bomb, etc.) Mark released his first solo EP in December of 2019 titled “Neanderthal Tales”.

Chaka’s music is described as “Cro-Magnon Cave Metal mixed with hardcore Punk Rock elements." This EP features tales of Kamikaze pilot attacks, a history of weapons from the Dawn of Man until modernity, embracing evolution, and finally: hemispheres in conflict.

InEffect Hardcore magazine described the EP, in part, as: “Perhaps what Metalheads in leather vests marching down the street with torches would use as their theme songs” and “Gives off a Carnivore vibe with that heavy, heavy bass sound".

SYNERGHIA - New album "Superación"

Launch of the second studio work by the Seville band SYNERGHIA, entitled "Superación", an album that has featured in the co-production the renowned sound engineer, Alberto Seara (Sober, Wizard of Oz, Hamlet, Skunk D. F.).

 SYNERGHIA is a band called to revolutionize the emerging national Rock scene, they have all the ingredients to be it: a superlative vocalist with a privileged voice. They say that her live voice is shocking, original, with a great personality, strength and energy, and her lyrics are deep and full of emotions. Vesicarum Reign Of Terror One Eyed Toad Records 22 May 2020

One Eyed Toad Records Proudly Present: Vesicarum - Reign Of Terror.

Vesicarum are a visceral five-piece death metal band from Kent, UK, bursting at the seams with brutal energy - featuring frantic, technical riffing; topped off with frontman Glynn Neve’s signature vocal style. 

The band was originally created in 2016 as a solo project by Glynn, growing in early 2018 to include guitarists Martin Shipton and James Thompson, bassist Orla Blue Reed and drummer Donal McGee. 

The name, ‘Vesicarum’ - meaning ‘to fester’, in Latin is an ode to the sinister nature of the band’s music and lyrical content. Featuring darker subjects including serial killers and The Ankou (The Graveyard Watcher), the central lyrical theme is hatred - the band describe their music as “an adrenaline rush that is a great escape from the stresses and strains of life.” 

2020 sees the release of Vesicarum’s savage debut EP, Reign Of Terror - featuring lead single, The Sick And The Depraved.

Cursus Bellum - Death Metal

Cursus Bellum, spawned in the vast black soil of Lundaslätten, Sweden is consisting of Jocke Unger – drums / vocals and Anders Nyander – guitars / bass.
After decade long co-operation in constellations such as Sgt.Carnage, along with the mutual metal-vinyl & beer consumption of biblical proportions,
the musical and creative direction of Cursus Bellum first took its perverted form in 2013.
The first official unveiling of the duo came in form of the recording MCD/Cassette “Accusing The Dead“, released early 2016 on Downfall Records.
Further inspired by the surounding muddy moraine and pale horizonless skies of the Scanian plains material for a new full length album was assembled.
The recording seance was once again held in Studio Oggerlunden and the new full length album “Ex Nihilo Nihil Fit” out by Downfall Records as Digital/
Digipack-CD! CB are now  rehearsing as a full-band and are starting doing live gigs in 2020...more to come!

DANISH METAL BAND CRYOSPHERE RELEASES NEW SINGLE “I AM BECOME DEATH” AND ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF NEW EP IN 2020

After releasing the first single “Nevermore” in January, which tells a harsh tale about

the difficulties in a parental relationship, CRYOSPHERE now continues with another

difficult topic and now focus on the story about struggling with mental illness. 

Their female leadsinger, Sirene, draws from personal experiences for both these

singles while she embodies the small sliver hope amidst a despairing world. 


The new EP

Following a turbulent personal time, CRYOSPHERE has managed to channel all of

their feelings into raw new material, for which they have taken off time during the

winter and early spring to finish up. With the release of the second single “I Am

Become Death” on February 14th, they now announce their imminent EP release in

late spring 2020.

 

“I Am Become Death” is the first single where Sirene’s screams can be heard(other

than backing vocals) as well as her clean singing, which is something that has

previously been reserved for the male leadsinger, Anders. 

The two vocals blend together perfectly and adds a new dimension to the brutality in

their music. 


 The music evokes an inner picture of a windswept winter landscape, barren,

bitter and with a single red rose in bloom, defiant in the face of its own

annihilation and the narratives act as mirrors that are held up for the listener

and you are forced to see everything about yourself, both the good and bad.



CRYOSPHERE is an alternative metal band with both female and male vocals and

they have previously been compared to bands like “Amaranthe” and “Lacuna Coil”.

They have released both singles and an compilation EP “Rebirth” in September 2019

where they embarked on their first tour. While playing several live shows in 2019,

they supported Daze of June(DK), Odd Palace(DK) and Crazy Town(US).
