Hevilan is back with the second album ‘Symphony of Good and Evil

The legendary heavy prog symphonic metal band is back with their new album, 'Symphony of Good and Evil', which will be released worldwide by Brutal Records / Voice Music, on March 19th.

‘The Symphony of Good and Evil’ is a conceptual record, based on the idea of the conflict between good and evil within the human being. The songs bring the band's characteristic weight and melody, opening with the striking "Dark Paradise", followed by the rhythmic "Rebellion of the Saints", "Great Battle" and "Devil Within (Part2) - Hammer of Gods", the ballads "Always in my Dreams" and "Waiting for the Right Time" that add balance and bring even more vitality, ending with the epic "Symphony of Good and Evil", which features over 20 minutes of choirs, orchestras and distorted guitars , which make up a striking metallic epic.

There are 7 songs on 12 tracks in a little over 50 minutes that will certainly please and shock fans of the style. The album also marks the debut of virtuoso drummer Rafael Dyszy commanding the drumsticks in the recordings.

The disc's first single, the track "Devil Within (Part 2) - Hammer of Gods" is scheduled to be released as a lyric video in early January. The following month, the ballad “Always in my Dreams” will also be released in lyric video and promises to be one of the most emblematic tracks on the disc.

The debut album ‘The End of Time’ was released in 2013 in Brazil and Japan and in 2015 across Europe, by the label Massacre Records, yielding great success and repercussion in the media. The album took the success of the Brazilian band to the world in the best possible way, winning more than 60 shows, among them, opening for the band Masterplan, 10 shows opening for the project Edu Falaschi Metal Classics, playing as opening and support band, from the singer, between 2014 and 2016 and the special 10th anniversary show, at the late Gillan´s Inn Rock Bar in São Paulo - which featured the special participation of Vitor Rodrigues andWarrel Dane. ARTIFICIAL EDEN – “Artificial Eden” (October 16, 2020, Boersma Records)

Artificial Eden was formed back in 2003.

Faithful to their hard rock and progressive metal roots, the band started composing original material shortly after. This, in 2006, led to the release of their first demo EP featuring three songs (released under the initial band name: Quadra.)

In the following years, Artificial Eden participated in numerous festivals, building, and enjoying the support of a number of followers. Some highlights to be proud of were taking the stage as the opening act for the Greek black metal band Rotting Christ, for ex-Iron Maiden singer Paul Di'Anno, and also for the Swedish heavy metal band Enforcer. The band also performed a live cover of the song "Seven" by guitar virtuoso Prashant Aswani. After posting our performance on YouTube, Mr. Aswani was quick to contact the band to give praise and

Recently, the band’s main composing members, Antonis Panagopoulos and Thanos Paparidis, had been working closely together on the band's first full-length release that contains six songs. This point in time also marks the band's change of name to Artificial Eden, which we believe reflects the creative direction that our music has taken.

On October 16th, 2020 they released their homonymous album by Boersma Records (DE).

CARNAL AGONY: NEW SINGLE THE WITCHING HOUR OUT

If Judas Priest and hit songwriter Desmond Child had a love-child, it would undoubtedly be a hideous creature with sex appeal. Much like Carnal Agony. Hailing from northern Sweden, the band is on a mission to pick up the torches left behind by their musical heroes. Their incendiary blend of metal energy and pop melody, spiced up with classical horror themed lyrics, is now ready to be unleashed upon the world.

Building on and further expanding the musical direction of debut album ‘Preludes & Nocturnes’, the second album ‘Back from the Grave’ is already a success with critics and audiences alike. With well over 300 000 Spotify-streams in just a few months the first two singles from the album, ‘Werewolf of Steel’ and ‘Love Will Tear You Apart’, have proven Carnal Agony's ability to write memorable melodies.

In order to let even more people discover the treasures within "Back from the Grave", the band is now releasing one of their favorite tracks as a follow-up single.  "The Witching Hour" is the perfect example of the  foundation that the band builds their music upon and showcases  the bands Unholy Trinity of headbanging rhythms, larger-than-life choruses and irresistible scary stories to tell in the dark.

With music and lyrics by Mathias Wallin, the track was recorded at Studio Seven Sweden in Örebro by Ronny Milianowicz. “‘The Witching Hour’ is unusual for us with it’s clear influences from bands like Whitesnake, Heart or Survivor. They’re a part of my musical DNA as well and it was fun to explore that and try to infuse it with metal”, says Mathias. “And when I got the chorus melody in my head I knew I had something special going on.” Guitarist Pär-Olof Persson agrees: “The moment I heard the song for the first time I decided that we had to record a new album. I can’t wait to play this song live!” Vocalist David Johagen chose a different approach to his vocal delivery on the track. “The lyrics called for a more storytelling feeling than the other tracks. I wanted to convey the curiosity, horror and ultimately power in the character's development and I think that you can hear it in my voice. Hopefully you’ll become afraid, disgusted and intrigued.” The Witching Hour is upon us!

“The Witching Hour” is available for streaming and digital download at all major digital services.

Dan & The Gummy Hunters releases music video for "Let it go", project is heavily influenced by the 90s Californian punk scene

Dan & The Gummy Hunters has just released the news music video for "Let it go", the track is part of the last album "Memory Lane".
Check it out "Let it go":  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIpReWElQ7g

"Memory Lane" has ten tracks, nine in English and one in Portuguese. All the songs and lyrics were written by Daniel Sant ’Ana, except for
the lyrics for “ Pride and arrogance”, which was written by Rafael Vasconcelos and Davi Package, who together sign with Daniel the composition of “We Try”.
The name of the album features compositions that talk about the last 10 years of Dan's life, such as his daily life, relationships with couples,
family, friends, parents and children.

IMG_0087.jpg

Very influenced by the 90's Californian punk, the album is a full plate for those who like the style and bands like Descendents, No use for a name, All,
Millencolin, Social Distortion. The cover art was made by illustrator Cristiano Suarez.

Very present in the Brazilian hardcore punk scene, Dan, decided to start write again with the emergence of the pandemic of covid-19 and with the result of the
lockdown that we lived for several months in Brazil. After composing two songs made on the guitar, the musician decided to invest in the purchase of a guitar,
interface and reference monitors, where he recorded the songs with electronic drums in logic pro x. In late June, Dan already had some songs ready and
contacted producer Davi Pack from Hill Valley studios in Porto Alegre, to start recording four tracks, thus releasing the first single, "Let it go", which
led him to record 6 more tracks making the project a record with ten songs.

Dan & The Gummy Hunters, is a solo and itinerant project by Daniel Sant 'Ana. The idea came up to facilitate the logistics of shows and the musicians to
change according to the region and tour time. In North America, for example, the musician has the support of the Canadian band Crash The Gates, and in
Brazil he has the support of musicians like Davi Pacote and Matheus Menezes. In Europe, Dan & The Gummy Hunters will continue to tour with the same musicians,
while in Brazil and South America where the shows take place over the weekend, the project will have to work with more musicians to make a possible tour possible.

For the recording of the music video for "Let it go", Dan & The Gummy Hunters has the participation of Pedro Rocha (drums), Matheus Menezes (bass) and Daniel Santana  (guitar and voice). The clip was recorded at Barbearia 12 de Outubro, in Recife, Brazil, and was directed by Lumos Estúdio.
