DEIMLER just released a new video for the track "A Thousand Suns"

Spanish Death Metallers DEIMLER, just released a new video for the track "A Thousand Suns" as a 3rd advance single from their imminent 1st album entitled "A Thousand Suns", which will see the light on October 19th, through Xtreem Music on CD, 12"LP, Cassette & Digital formats.

The origin of DEIMLER dates back to 1998, dissolving in 2002 until in 2018 it was reactivated through one of its founding members, Pako Deimler (Funëdeim) on guitar/ vocals, who is also active in bands such as FAMISHGOD, DIMENSSION, ITNUVETH and several more. The band's debut EP "Zeron One" was released in 2020 through the Chinese label Awakening Rec. and had an excellent reception in the underground scene with its style of heavy and brutal yet melodic and catchy Death Metal with strong roots in the sound of the Finnish and Swedish schools of late '80s and early '90s with influences from bands like DEMILICH, CARNAGE, ADRAMELECH, DISMEMBER, AVULSED, FUNEBRE, NECROPHILIAC, ENTOMBED, CARTILAGE, DEATH, OBITUARY, GRAVE...

During the first half of 2021, DEIMLER has been working on the recording of their first full-length "A Thousand Suns", which was recorded and mastered at Moontower Studios and with cover artwork by José Vives.

INCUBUS moniker, New Orleans trio Opprobrium were part of the initial wave of death metal bands who hit the ground running in the late-80s. Unfortunately, the various legal eagles, major label persuasion and more cost the band their initial name, which is yet another sad reminder of how the little guy gets pushed around in these turbulent industry waters. The band (as Incubus) released three albums, the first being Serpent Temptation by Brutal Records in 1988.

Serpent Temptation, truly deserves more recognition, as they arguably were never surpassed by any of their peers. The original group Incubus is a milestone in both the death metal, thrash metal genres, and true worldwide classic.

Scott (vocal, bass), his vocal style sounds shouted, yet growled at the same time, this still doesn’t keep him from sounding like a mad bloodthirsty demon.

Francis (lead guitar) is incredibly talented, and his mind-blowing riffs and superior songwriting, slower tempos, and the heaviest riffs imaginable and at the same time.

Moyses (drums) the hyper-snare style displayed here is very unique, and is primarily why I would consider this the fastest thrash album ever recorded

Rhine - 'Ausland' (Within The Mind Records)

Seattle (WA) - Progressive Death Metal quartet RHINE will release Ausland, the band's third full-length album, November 12 on Within The Mind Records.

Multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Tachell had this to say about Ausland:

"Our new album Ausland explores some pretty cynical and nihilistic themes. It’s a mix of personal struggles with depression, fear and conflict, and some politically driven stuff about privilege, capitalism, the environment etc. The album is heavier than previous releases, with more refined song writing and is generally more cohesive, but still has plenty of proggy twists and turns. The title Ausland means foreign place in German, which kind of summarizes the whole feeling of living in this world right now. It also harkens back to my childhood living in Germany, where “Auslander” (foreigners) were forced into the lower class by societal structures, my first encounter with the hate and discrimination that plagues the whole world."

BIO:

Rhine is a concoction of extreme metal that could be described very differently depending on who you ask. Often labeled as progressive death metal, you can hear the European influence with elements of black metal, melo-death and folk metal, while attempting to retain the spirit of rock in their song structures.

They’ve had a variety of musicians in their lineup and session players on their albums since their formation in 2011. It began as a solo project with the 2011 album Duality recorded single handedly by singer/guitarist Gabriel Tachell. The second album, An Outsider, began recording in 2014, featuring session drummer Sean Lang and Tachell playing everything else. Later that same year a lineup was formed with Alex Smolin (guitar), Carlos Delgado (drums) and James Porter (bass). The band started playing live, and An Outsider was released in early 2016, followed by their first tour.

In 2017 they recorded a split EP with Rat King, which included all the members of the lineup and more collaboration in the song writing. In 2018 Smolin left, and the band remained split up for nearly two years. During that time Tachell began work on the new album Ausland with session drummer Daryl Williams. Again Tachell played most of the instruments, with additional guitar contributions from Andrew Dennis (current member) and some compositional contributions from Smolin. Dennis joined the band as guitarist in 2019 along with original members Delgado and Porter. Ausland was completed during the pandemic.
