Overview/Bio:
Making heads turn since 2016 with the cosmic Death Metal exposed in their Demos, Eps and splits with Undeath and Into Coffin, Italy's DEVOID OF THOUGHT finally release their 40 minutes debut full length combining influences from bands like Timeghoul, Blood Incantation, Voivod and Incantation in a unique, bizarre and twisted vortex.

The band was born as Warstorm in 2010 in Busto Arsizio playing thrash metal and released the full length "Goatspel" in for ETN Records.
After several line-up changes they decide to evolve into DEVOID OF THOUGHT in 2016 leaning towards a much more death metal edge.
In 2017 the band released their first demo "Astral Necrosis" followed by a second demo "Cosmic Apoptosis" in 2019, re-released also as a split with Undeath. A split with Into Coffin followed soon after while the band started playing several gigs in Slovenia, Switzerland and Germany and getting ready to the release of their debut full length album finally out for Everlasting Spew Records.

Occulsed - Crepitation Of Phlegethon (Everlasting Spew Records Release: 17 September 2021)

 Overview/Bio:
OCCULSED is the latest spawn from Justin (Father Befouled, Encoffination) and Jared (Gastric Phantasm) combining sheer savagery the US way with a dreadful, catacombal feeling.
Ruthless and threatening.

Occulsed was formed in Atlanta/Georgia in 2017 to spew filthy, wretched, and disgusting Death Metal. Taking cues from the stalwart Tampa scene as well as the early underground Scandinavian death metal gods, Occulsed employs chaotic riffing, eerie melody, and inhuman vocals to craft haunting and bone-crushing death metal.
With a pedigree of members spanning numerous bands, the three members of Occulsed have a 20+ year history of death and black metal under their belts. The culmination of songwriting results in a harrowing listening experience.
With the demos “Cenotaph to Putridity” and “Ceremonial Lifelessness” garnering rave reviews they have cemented themselves as a death metal force not to missed. Their debut “Crepitation of Phlegethon” is poised to be one of most abominable and riff-laden death metal records of 2022.

Burial - Inner Gateways To The Slumbering Equilibrium At The Center Of Cosmos (Everlasting Spew Records 29 October 2021)

 Overview/Bio:
Italy's BURIAL resurfaces from the beyond with their first full length album, blending moments of sheer death metal aggression and horrific, funerous doomy passages. Enter the horror!

Burial is a Swe/Fin influenced Death/Doom band from Italy. Formed in 2012 by Leonardo but the first things were recorded only in 2016, when Enrico joined the band on vocals. "The Forgotten" Ep was released in 2019 and soon after a new Demo titled “Presence From The Beyond” which showed the first progressions in the band's songwriting.
In 2020 the band signed with Everlasting Spew Records for the release of the first full length with a new lineup featuring Leonardo on guitars, Enrico on bass and vocals, Samuele on drums and Morgan as supporting guitars.

Behold the ferocious display of the darkened, progressive, sinister and miasmatic death metal cruelty that BENOTHING have crafted for you and let yourself drown in the aural bliss that is temporal bliss surrealms!

The formation of the band dates back to 2017 when K.T and V.V teamed up to put together some musical ideas they had. in 2018 M.F joined the band on guitar/bass and the band evolved through a darker and complex songwriting. After roughly two years devoted to developing the songwriting process and with A.G joining the band in early 2019 the band was ready and aligned to channel their passion for the ancient and uncompromised manifestations of this morbid artistry and give finally birth to the first BENOTHING manifestation.
All the four tracks for the debut Ep were recorded live at rehearsal studio during summer 2020 and even though the recording consumed a lot of time because of the pandemic outburst and travel restrictions, nothing was more fitting for such bizarre times than to unfold the gates of their inner abyss and magnify the analog transmit death to execute the recordings for their debut EP "Temporal Bliss Surrealms". 100% DIY, recorded, mixed, and mastered by V.V and now ready to be unleashed upon this putrid earth!

CHARNEL ALTAR set release date for BLOOD HARVEST debut album, reveal first track

 Today, Blood Harvest Records announces December 17th as the international release date for Charnel Altar's highly anticipated debut album, Abatement of the Sun, on CD and cassette tape formats. The vinyl LP version will follow next year.

Hailing from Adelaide, Australia's Charnel Altar formed in late 2018. Not long after, the band's self-titled debut demo followed in January 2019. Originally self-released digitally, a cassette version was soon released by Desert Wastelands Productions and a 12" vinyl version by Seed of Doom Records and Impure Sounds; a tape re-release then came in mid-2020 via Blood Moon Productions. With this underground momentum building, Charnel Altar released a split EP with fellow Aussies Carcinoid, which was released on tape by Headsplit Records and on 10" vinyl once again by Seed of Doom.

During all this, Charnel Altar became a prolific force on the live front. Their first show was supporting Uada, and they went on to play with the likes of Incantation, Krisiun, Integrity, Primitive Man, Faceless Burial, Gutless, Ignivomous, and Vile Apparition. A tour with Carcinoid and others was planned for 2020, but was unfortunately cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Nevertheless, Charnel Altar make their full-length debut with the slimy 'n' stultifying Abatement of the Sun. Horrific and harrowing, churning and gestating with utter dread and doom, Charnel Altar's death metal is like a slo-mo melting of mind and matter. One could arguably qualify it as death-doom, but the band's version of such evades easy categorization and aims more for hovering tension and paradoxically spacious density - indeed, like old(er)-school death metal dragged through tar but trudging forward like a tank. That all three members previously played together in the cult Tombsealer - who toured nationally in support of Mournful Congregation and played with such acts as Dead Congregation, Portal, Fetid, Windhand, Cough, Inverloch, and Nocturnal Graves to name a few - shows in their seemingly effortless execution, that these dreadful 'n' doomed-out ruminations have been simmering in their hearts for time eternal. Or, put another way, Abatement of the Sun is all-too-perfectly titled: the end is not just nigh; it's NULL.

US post-black metal/chiptune entity Gonemage set to release sophomore album Sudden Deluge on November 19 - out via Xenoglossy Productions (EU), Big Money Cybergrind (US) and Red Truth Productions (Kazakhstan)

"Sudden Deluge" is a continuation to "Mystical Extraction"'s story. Galimgim assumes the role of The Curator of an unnamed dream realm while developing an overzealous attachment to the power and allure of the paintbrush given to him. With the brush, he tries to create companionship and adventure through the summoning of pixelated creatures (animals, faeries, humans) but these manifestations have a short shelf life in these particular dream realms due to their mortal imprint. He feverishly continues to create them for the time being in order to help him stop the elusive and conniving Dust Merchant and in hope to aid his search for the original Curator across other realms.

In a battle of wit and magic, he successfully banishes the Dust Merchant from this realm into a waking reality, but in doing so the paintbrush's power slowly begins to corrupt his form: tendrils growing from his left hand, wing tips sharpening into blades, and more mutations yet to be seen. With newfound power and his ever-cycling creation of summonings, they gain the ability to venture outside the boundaries of this purview and further into dream space. Eventually, they find the original Curator in a purgatory-like dream realm known as Delirium.

Less than one month ago German heavy thrashers DAILY INSANITY released their critically acclaimed debut album Chronicles Of War. In support of the release the band revealed a mind-blowing music video trilogy to support the album promotion cycle. Now the band in association with director Ronald Matthes, who is well known in the heavy metal scene for his work for bands like Volbeat, Machine Head, Sodom and Doro Pesch, premiered the directors cut of the video trilogy entitled "Chronicles Of Riffs". Fans now have the chance to see the whole story of the music video trilogy in one go and with a reworked soundscape. DAILY INSANITY's Gene states: "The idea for the trilogy was to tell a story that doesn't have anything to do with the songs, but rather stands as a kind of visual statement for the entire album. The story tells of a soldier who has to go to war. He leaves his family and meets his best buddy, whom he loses a little bit later in a battle. It all ends with the soldier dying lonely. The question "Is it worth it?" is a big one and in general, symbols and metaphors are playing a big role in our trilogy. We always wanted to present the whole story in one short movie after the album is released and here we are. Ronald did an amazing job and the whole crew worked hard to make this happen. According to Sorcerer guitarist Peter Hallgren, "Black Sabbath is an endless source of inspiration for writing good music in whatever style of hard rock and metal." Additionally, singer Anders Engberg says: "You can hear it in the early Sorcerer songs, that we are a lot about Black Sabbath. Maybe we tend to mix in the more melodic parts - more like the Dio and Tony Martin era albums - in the music we make today. For me 'When Death Calls' is one of the strongest songs I think they have written. A really doomy song, which in my opinion sounds a lot like the music we create in Sorcerer. After having a blast recording 'Gates of Babylon', we decided to give covering another spin. 'When Death Calls' was unanimously chosen as the track to go for!"
