He was tired of having to compromise how and what to play in order to play in certain places, and he also wanted to play the guitar! so the first person I asked besides Dave was mat, then brother danny ... so originally me on guitar ... mat bass ... crazy voc ... danny drums ... this evolved into change instrument mid-set in the early days ... go from guitar to drums ... danny from drums to bass ... mat from bass to guitar.

We've known each other for 30 years ... Mat and Joe longer.

I would say we were formed sometime in 94 ... I immediately started writing.

We started playing as soon as we had 8 or 10 songs together, and that didn't take long.
