MORAL COLLAPSE – MORAL COLLAPSE ( Review by Varg The Mighty )

Today’s review is of Indian Technical Death Metal band Moral Collapse’s self-titled album.

This album features a very brutal and somewhat dark kind of Death Metal that may remind of Carcass (notably on “Denier Of Light”) with an unusual instrumentation that sometimes creates an interesting atmosphere like on “Abandoned Rooms Of Misspelled Agony”.

On other tracks, their innovative concepts take helm and create a totally Avant-Garde soundscape reminiscent of Imperial Triumphant, like on “Suspension Of Belief”. Thanks to a great musicianship, this album manages to be diverse, original and heavy at the same time. Although some would prefer a completely Death Metal or completely Avant-Garde approach, I personally think that they mix chaos and brutality pretty well.

I recommend this album to fans of Technical Death Metal and Avant-Garde Death Metal. My rating is of 8,5/10.
