FireWing: “Far in Time” is the second single from the album "Resurrection"

The debut album will be released by Massacre Records on April 23.

FireWing release today their newest single, the second from the album Resurrection, which will be released by Massacre Records. The song “Far in Time” hits digital streaming platforms and receives a lyric video. The track has an abstract lyrical theme that relates to reality.

The guitarist Caio Kehyayan comments on the concept: “The song talks about a world in darkness. People went into an internal battle, as the dragon Vishap is trying to suck the flame from their lives, to become even more powerful ”. The narrative tells that the abandonment of this battle leads to death and that even with fear, there is still hope.

However, the concept is related to reality, as it can refer to “people who get lost inside their own head, because of depression. It’s about this internal battle of thinking about dying, having suicidal thoughts. Not feeling enough , he adds.
The final message is to overcome difficulties and move on: “If you cannot win life’s battles, you will not be able to go far in time to be eternal, to leave a legacy, a story. How far can you go? ”, challenges the guitarist, leaving the interpretation to the listener.

The album Resurrection hits stores on April 23. The first single was “Tales of Ember & Vishap: The Meaning of Life (Extended Version)”, a track that also has a lyric video.

The musical proposal of the band, which have musicians trained at the renowned Berklee College of Music, is to offer a fresh take to symphonic metal, by uniting the technique of heavy metal with melodic orchestrations. FireWing is formed by Airton Araujo (vocals), Chris Dovas (drums), Peter de Reyna (bass), Bruno Oliveira (guitar and orchestrations) and Caio Kehyayan (guitarist).
