Boston’s Hard Rock/Metal band Silent Season formed in the spring of 2008. Despite the changes that
have taken place in the hard rock/metal world with favorite venues, radio stations and record stores
closing, the band’s name reflects one that captures depth and emotion as their music always conveys a
positive message with elements of perseverance, determination and overcoming challenges, not just in
the music industry, but in life in general. With influences such as Breaking
Benjamin, Sevendust, Staind, Metallica and Red, fans of these bands are bound to immediately be drawn
to Silent Season, making their band a fan favorite.
Silent Season was founded by Jeremy Rae (Lead Vocalist) and David Pappalardo (Drummer). The line-
up was solidified with the addition of Guitarists Brendan Sheehan and Abner Anthony. In the summer of
2012, the band released their debut album, ‘Breaking Me Down,’ which consisted of 12-tracks ranging
from aggressive hard rock songs to melodic rock ballads while all songs engaged the listener with
powerful, heartfelt lyrics. The album was produced by Brett Hestla (Dark New Day & Creed), Brad Young
(Platinum LFO albums) and Alex Hatziyannis. It was mastered by Grammy-nominated producer Jonathan
Wyner (Nirvana, David Bowie, Aerosmith and Bruce Springsteen) from M-Works Studio in Cambridge,
MA.
The debut album received support from stations such as Sirius-XM Octane, Music Choice and Sixx Sense
along FM stations such as WZBH, WOBG, WHBR, KOZE, KJML, WIIL and WXTB, which resulted in the
band gaining a loyal fan base. Silent Season’s hit single, ‘Chance,’ off of their debut album made it to the
#1 spot on Music Choice’s Metal channel within a week.
The band has toured with national artists such as Sevendust, 10 Years, Gemini Syndrome and Twelve
Foot Ninja. They have also shared the stage with Black Veil Brides, Hinder, Lacuna Coil, Nonpoint,
Red, Sick Puppies, Falling In Reverse, Like A Storm, Taproot, Trapt, Orgy and Powerman 5000, to name
a few.
Since releasing their debut album, the band has followed up with hit singles including ‘Us All’ (2014), ‘The
Negative’ (2017) and ‘Stars’ (2017), ‘Wounds’ (2019), ‘Blame’ (2019), ‘Addiction’ (2021). ‘The Negative’,
‘Wounds’, and ‘Blame’ were accompanied by lyric videos and ‘Us All’, ‘Stars’, ‘Addiction’, with music
videos. Silent Season’s most recent single ‘Addiction’ hit close to home with a lot of fans talking about
drug addiction and overcoming the battle that it is.
The band’s perseverance, drive and dedication has been undeniable, and it is with much appreciation
from the continued support the band has received from various mediums that continue to propel them
forward. ‘Stars’ recently received rave reviews after being featured in Alternative Revolt Magazine and All
Access Music Magazine. In the short period of time since 'Stars' was released, the song has garnered
notable success by generating over 2,000,000+ streams. The song is also being played on Music
Choice's Rock Channel and Loudwire's Weekly Wire Spotify Playlist as well as numerous FM stations

VAULTED: Decibel Magazine Premieres “Left In Despair” Video From Boston Death Metal Group; Band To Release Left In Despair Full-Length In November

Watch VAULTED’s “Left In Despair” video HERE.

Decibel Magazine has just premiered the new video for “Left In Despair” – the savage title track to the second album by Boston death metal henchmen, VAULTED – as the record nears November release.

Born from bitter Winters, VAULTED siphons aggression and internal growth through searing and metallic, sometimes melodic, unapologetic auditory chaos, and pinpointed lyrical constructs that reflect on personal despair, social atrocity, and global vitriol. The group maintains a bludgeoning heaviness with a poetic weaponry of ferocity and internal strife.

VAULTED now prepares to close out the tumultuous 2021 with their latest and most advanced effort to date titled, Left In Despair. The band returned to their trusted producer, engineer, and manager Shane Frisby of LifeBlood Inc. and owner/operator of The BrickHitHouse to capture Left In Despair’s eleven groove-heavy tracks, the album blending influences from seminal death metal monarchs Dismember, Entombed, Grave, Obituary, and Gorefest with the modern approach of Black Breath, Nails, Trap Them, Gatecreeper, and All Pigs Must Die. The record was mastered by Alan Douches at West Westside Studios (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, Cannibal Corpse), and completed with artwork by Yodth Gnosis.

The video for “Left In Despair” was directed by Tyler Hallett. VAULTED’s Christian Henderson offers, “We wrote and recorded Left In Despair in January 2020, just before the pandemic. Little did we know, we spoke this song and the new album’s subject matter into existence with what transpired only a month or so later. Now in 2021, feelings of isolation, desertion, and uncontrollable abandonment run rampant and still no one can truly understand where we stand in the timeline of human existence.”

Decibel writes, “Team Decibel has been happily hyping New England metallic hardcore bruisers VAULTED for the past two years now. The band burst onto the scene in 2019 with Asylum Memoirs, a three-track ripper of an EP that will barely prepare you for the sonic onslaught of Left In Despair, the band’s second effort, now confirmed for November release. And this afternoon we’re happy to re-board the Northeast Regional hype train via the premiere of the video for Left In Despair‘s title track.”

Watch VAULTED’s official video for “Left In Despair” now hosted by Decibel Magazine at THIS LOCATION.

VAULTED will independently release Left In Despair digitally with a cassette version to see release through bassist Nicholas Wolf’s War Fever Recordings on November 19th.

Find preorders at the War Fever store HERE and Bandcamp where “Forged In Darkness” is playing HERE.

Watch for additional previews, record release shows, and more on VAULTED to be announced over the weeks ahead.
